The name stands for "smart and noble"
Third Intermediate Period, 21th/22th Dynasty.

This ushabti figurine is depicted as a worker holding two hoes for work in the fields of Osiris in the afterlife.
He is wearing a tripartite wig which falls down between the shoulders...
Interesting cylinder seal carved in greyish black stone, with worshippers standing either side of the Tree of Life, with the winged emblem of Ashur / Assur above. Nice Neo-Assyrian style and fine details.
Size: 20 mm. tall and 10 mm. wide.
Condition: Good Very fine, light wear and completely intact.
Provenance: The Karl Müller collection, Germany 1950-1977. Comes with COA and his imprint.
Excessively rare and superb condition bronze and iron key, European, Early renaissance, 14th.-15th. century (c.1380-1450).
Very interesting heavy bronze bow of a Gothic design and the stem and bit made of iron. A very complicated bit of an S-shape.
The key was probably from a money box or jewellery box, due to the complicated bit and heavy design.
Size: 11 cm. - a large and heavy key for the period.

An important and very interesting medieval floor tile, of a 13th.-14th. century English type, used in Noble houses, churches and monasteries in the period.
Size: 13,5-14 cm. on each side and very thick.
Condition: Intact and choice, with minimal detoriation of the glaze.

An attractive and substantial cylinder seal carved in blakc Haematite, Isin-Larsa period, Old Babylonian, ca. 2000 - 1800 BC.
The seal is carved with an introduction of the king to standing sun god with saw. Another worshipper or lesser deity is also depicted and there's and interesting large emblematic staff between them.
Height: 2.3cm, diameter: 1.1cm.
Condition: Nice VF for type and intact with even wear.

Interesting and attractive gold Quatrefoil openwork pendant with small loop at one side and an engraved cross in the center, Roman-Darkage c. 4th.-6th. cent. BC.
A heavy hanger, very attractive. The gold is almost pure and around 22 carats or so. The central cross was deliberately erased at one point in antiquity, which could have been done by pagans / romans in the late antiquity.
Size: 19-20 mm. in diameter and weighing a solid 3.45 grams.

Another substantial Roman silver seal ring with a red carnelian intaglio, 1st.-3rd. cent AD
The ring a typical compressed Roman design and the carnelian stone engraved with a depiction of the Dioskouroi.
Size: c. 24 mm. wide and weighing 8.1 grams. The ring-size is c. 19 mm. x 16 mm., so it fits the typical ring-finger of a smaller male or a female hand.
Condition: Very fine, intact, but the stone was reset and there's chips to the silver-setting...
A rare, attractively patinated, small bronze figure depicting the Ancient Egyptian cat goddess, Bast. This item was made in Egypt during the Late Dynastic Period (664-332 BC).
Condition: much of the surface is oxidized and is degraded in places and there is extensive malachite encrustation.
4cm (1.6 inches) high.
A large and well-preserved tanged bronze sword, c. 2nd. millenium BC.
The style with the thick mid-rib and two rivets in the corner of the blade is known from the Assyrian period, and the present specimen provincially made around the lands of the Caspian Sea. On this specimen one rivet is still remaining. Very attractive and impressive!

Condition: Choice - very fine green patina and good metal quality - very few losses and roghness to the edge...

A rare large pottery figure of Thot as a Baboon Late-Ptolemaic period, 5th.-1st. century BC.
A mold-made votive figure of the god Thot, depicted here seated as a Baboon holding a round object and very detailed with remnants of pigments.
Interesting, large figures like this are usuaully only encountered in faiance or stone so a scarce late representation in terracotta...
A lovely key for a large strong-box or treasury chest, probably Italian, late 15th-early 16th. century.
A massive key with a large, enforced bit with elaborately carved slots. The stem and oval bow decorated in the gothic manor. Finely patinated with remnants of copper and gold from previous guilding. An early luxery key in the style that would dominate European key making for nearly a century.

Perfectly working lock with original brass-soldering or coppering at the base. A heavy lock with a specially produced brass and iron key with elaborate slot for the period - very rare.
