A rectangular stone stamp seal carved in a green stone. The seal is high unusual, since it depicts a whole bunch of people having great fun. They are skillfully done with lines and round heads; it looks like there a couple having sex and other humans applauding it, but it might just be my imagination(?).

Wonderful style!

Interesting Bifacial stone stamp seal, East-Anatolian, probably in the time of Uruk, 4th.-3rd. mill. BC.

Deep carving in an attractive dark green stone with a palmtree or a palm-leaf engraving one one side and a human and a snake(?) on the other side. Early depiction of a human figure, in the nice drillstyle.

Size: 23 mm. wide over the base and 21 mm. tall.

Condition: Near VF, chip to the edge of one of the seal bases...

Carved in a fine glossy green stone, rectangular shape and with a low pierced handle on the back. The seal carved with an elephant in a nice early Roman style of the 1st. century BC.

The style of the Elephant is clearly in family with denarii issued from military mints at the time of Julius Caesar.

Fine hand-modeled vessel with shallow body, rounded shoulder and short neck with slightly flared rim.
The ribbon handles arching from the rim to the edge of the shoulder. On each side applied molded ribs and a spiky knob at center.
The polished surface with traces of the modeling stick.

The shoulder area enhanced with molded ridges.
