This is really a fantastic fragment of a faience Isis, sitting on a lion throne, nursing her son Horus.
The whole throne, supported by two stringing lions, is well preserved. The lions are extremely fine
and you can see every detail. Dating is between Third Intermediate Period to Late Period.

This is a fine example of a plain bronze sword likely from Northwestern Iran, possible the Luristan culture. It dates to roughly 1000 BC. It measures an impressive 48 cm in length and weighs 356 grams. The only apparent damage is in what appears to be a broken tang. The break appears ancient as well. An attractive two-tone silex / flint axe of the unpolished type with small butt and a wide blade, Time of the Great Buriel mounts, c. later 4th. mill. BC.

Size: 23,8 cm. long and quite heavy, so this would probably have been an offer or ritual axe.

Condition: Good Very fine, tiny ding to the edge, othervise perfect and with a nice specled colour with calcification.

Provenance: Castle Gardener Peder Søren Petersen (1882–1964). Mainly found between WWI and WWII...

Egyptian head of a king with tightly fitting headdress, the uraeus and the vulture partially preserved on the forehead.
Eyes and eyebrows recessed to bear inlays. Also the body of the rearing uraeus was originally inlayed.
Attractive facial features with slightly aquiline nose and full lips, the almond-shaped eyes with cosmetic lines to the outer corners. False beard missing.
