This is really a fantastic fragment of a faience Isis, sitting on a lion throne, nursing her son Horus.
The whole throne, supported by two stringing lions, is well preserved. The lions are extremely fine
and you can see every detail. Dating is between Third Intermediate Period to Late Period.
I think it looks a little bit Nubian, than it is 25th Dynasty. I can not find any parallel of a
comparable faience throne, so it has to be extremely rare.

A stunning, attractive macehead of a nice large size, in fine redish granite, 3rd. millenium BC.

The artifact is polished to a perfectly symethric compressed oval form with a deep groove in the center. These were made by the singlegrave culture and was a weapon like the battle axes from this fase and as attractive and perfect.

This is an interesting ancient Egyptian Scarab, c. 1200 BC, from the famous Mitry collection (see our Homepage). It is 5/8” long (16 mm) and made of steatite, an easy-to-carve stone that hardens when heated. The figure is made of solid bronze, bearded, mummiform and holding the crook and flail with broad collar. He wears the “Atef” plumed crown with uraeus at the front, the snake’s tail rising atop the crown.

A bronze Atef crown's feather. Ram's horn on bottom upon which a rearing ureas cobra is perched, with gaps probably originally containing inlays, crowned with the solar disc; the cobra flanks a large, curling ostrich plume with multiple horizontal incised lines. Height: 3-1/2" , not including base. Late Dynastic Period, ca 700 to 330 B.C.

This is a fine example of a plain bronze sword likely from Northwestern Iran, possible the Luristan culture. It dates to roughly 1000 BC. It measures an impressive 48 cm in length and weighs 356 grams. The only apparent damage is in what appears to be a broken tang. The break appears ancient as well. The rest of the sword is intact and stable. This is a good piece to add to your ancient weapon collection.

This is a nice copper or copper alloy axe from Northern Iran. It dates to roughly the end of the third millennium BCE. Similar examples can be seen in P.R.S. Moorey Catalog of Ancient Persian Bronzes in the Ashmolean Museum pp 41-43. Axes of this type are commonly attributed either to the broad classification of Luristan or to the Elamite culture.
