Quirky strands of bronze beads and Kushan charm in the shape of a Hindu Trishula (trident). I acquired these with a group of Kanishka coins that were found in the same place, circa 100CE. Large strand 25cm/9.8in and small strand 9.5cm/3.8in (the holes were too small to fit on the same cord as the larger one). Weight total: 40 grams. A rare solid gold ring with a beautiful natural stone that under the light has almost a cat eye feel. Doesn't show up on the photos.
Embossed pendant decorated with two figures of deities, one male wearing a dhoti and the other, a female, entirely naked, each with an aureola, standing in front of what seems to be an altar. A loop on top allowed attachment to a necklace. The pendant is made of 18 K gold, with remnants of soil encrustations. Graeco-Buddhist art, Gandhara, 1st to 3rd century. Height: 5.5 cm.
