Antique Chinese charming cloissone sheep with large curling horns, made of copper repousse, cloisonne with stylized birds and scrolling vines all over the body of the sheep, beautiful colors on a black ground, late 19th century.
Size: 11" high x 16" long x 6" deep.
The quality of this small elephant is excellent. Standing foursquare with head turned to one side. The body and the separately cast reliquary - monstrance inlaid, brightly enameled, multi coloured and richly ornamented. Nineteenth century or a little bit earlier. L : 14,8 cm. H : 19,4 cm Condition : Excellent with no damage. The reliquary - monstrance incomplete ( please see the last enlargement ).
Antique pair of silver and enamel finger nail guards, worn by wealthy ladies to protect their long finger nails and show that they did not need to work with their hands, made all of pierced repouse silver and decorated with motifs of birds, flowers and fruit, 19th century.

This Chinese Jia Qing or Dao Guang period (1796~1850) hand painted enamel leaf-shaped tray is 12 ¼ inches long, 8 ¼ inches on the widest part and 1 1/8 inches high with legs. It depicts a blue orchid, two pink roses, an unknown yellow flower and a blue beetle with white spots on a turquoise background. It has yellow-green bottom and three legs. This tray was part of a private collection which was on display in 1970 at ¡°The China Institute in America¡± in New York...

A stunning Chinese porcelain Dayazhai-type jar grisaille painted with yellow ground. The monochromatic imagery of black and grey peonies against a yellow enamel ground scrolls around the body under a band of ruyi heads below a band of key-fret. With descriptive tag on the base "From the Hall of Embodied Harmony". There is also a Museum Porcelain Exhibition tag. The tag has some losses but shows that the Exhibition was in the 1960's - item #238...
Beautiful Chinese cloisonné tripod censor decorated in beautiful colors with motifs of lotus, scrolling vines, chrysanthemums, and archaic chinese elements. With a gilt bronze fu dog on the top cover and three elephants as the censor legs. Slightly worn gold gilt over bronze is constant with age. Age: 18th/19th century. Size: Height 7.75" Diameter 5.25"
Museum quality piece. The front decorated with two dragons and the flaming pearl, the back decorated with bats, the standing rim decorated with colorful flower bands, both on the inside and outside. China, 19th century. Dimensions: 22 x 15,5 cm. Condition: excellent. A similar tray can be found in the catalogue of the opium exhibition at Kunsthal Rotterdam (collection F. Bertholet and C. With an unusual European form, this oblong bowl with lid is decorated overall with a flower and butterfly design in shaded enamels on a white ground with an ultra marine blue secondary ground, as a banding around the lid and as a surround for the two flower cartouches on the bowl's exterior. A small turquoise band encircles the base of the bowl which rests on a flared foot. The interiors of both the lid and bowl are covered in a speckled, medium green enamel...
These extremely decorative pair of food containers are beautifully ornamented. A turquoise background, these cloisonne containers model a beautiful array of blue, yellow, and red shades of swirling chimera and flower design. Made of bronze, The containers have one compartment each. Lid opens at top. The "shou" symbol on lids represent longevity.

These late Qing Dynasty 19th century Swans on a landscape base are very large, at least life-largely if not larger.

This unusual Chinese export enamel and silver filigree Foo dog is 5 ¾” high (with base is 7” high), 4” wide and 2” thick. The Foo dog sits on a globe with its mouth open. Three small coral and turquoise pieces are missing from his head. Most of lacquer finish on the wood base has worn off. Otherwise, it is in fairly good condition.
