Antique Chinese hardwood folding chair decorated with beautifully incised metal accents. The chair has a leather string that laces through the bottom legs to secure the chair open or closed. It measures 44" tall (folded), 20.5" at widest.

Beautiful two section desk with a 2 section inlaid marble top. The top section has three drawers, the bottom section has two drawers. The marble is grey and white. Brass hardware. It measures 44"wide x 22"deep 32" tall. early Republic period circa 1900.

This traditional embroidered vest was made and worn by the woman of the Miao minority culture living in the Ge Jia region of China generations ago. The textile fabric was hand woven with a specific thread count to allow for the geometric embroidery pattern which was added later.

This very nice carved bamboo arm rest is an early 20th century product. It is 11 1/8” long, 2 ¾” wide and a quarter of an inch thick. It depicts two elders and one young servant sitting under bamboo and pine trees which are beneath a cloud covered mountain. There are five characters and a seal carved on the top...

This jar is incised all around the body with a bird and floral scene. A vine design encircles the shoulder, bordered by double incised lines. There is a small flower sprig on two sides of the neck with a single incised line encircling just below the mouth. The jar is covered inside and out with a pale blue-green clear glaze, stopping just above the footring...

These rare ivory carvings of two immortals are early 20th century products. The male immortal is Lu Dongbin; he is 8 ¾” high (with base is 10” high), 3” wide 2 ½” thick. The female is He Xiangu; she is 8 ¾” high (with base is 10” high), 3” wide 2 ½” thick. This old Chinese Miao ethnic minority child's hat is thickly padded for winter wearing. The red silk fabric with silk thread satin stitch embroidery really stands out. One silver butterfly ornament decorates the back of the hat and provides noise to protect the child from evil spirits. a bit dirty but hat is in very good condition.

An antique six panel Chinese coromandel screen with motif of birds and flowers inlaid with mother of pearl and semi precious stones. This style of screen emerged during the Ming dynasty in China and has been favored in Europe for centuries. Each element of detail has been masterfully rendered. The lacquer is in wonderful original condition showing a lusterious rich finish.
