Chinese Amber Carved Flower & Peach Silver Pin Marked Silver, Late 18th Century or Early 19th Century

It is 1.8 inches (4.6 cm) tall by 2.5 inches (6.4 cm) wide. The amber is 1.5 inches (3.8 cm) tall by 2.1 inches (5.5 cm) wide. It is 19.6 gram.

It is in good condition with no repairs, or cracks, except flea bite chips and surface scratches (as seen in the photos).

Description:

A pair of Jianyang hare-furs tea bowls was well mold in fine shape.
In evert mouth rim, the bowls were stand by circular foot rings.
Characteristic abrasion was found at the foot ring where the body clay was covered with burial adhesives.
Incursions were also found on the mouth rim.
They were in lovely sizes- very hard to find on the market, but ideally for tea ceremony.

19th century Chinese soapstone seal carved on the top with a crouching rooster, its head turned right. Wonderful carving, beautiful patina and obvious wear attesting to the age of the object.
