This is a wonderful pair of early cloisonne vases. The rich enamels and designs used appear to be that of early Namikawa Sosuke. Each vase features a different roosters and a hens. The vases stand 13 inches tall. Condition overall is excellent. Upon close inspection a 1 inch line can bee seen along with two over sized pits.The owner would consider splitting up this pair.

Antique Japanese cast iron tetsubin (kettle for heating water for tea). Made with a tall handle and bell-shaped body. Raised shells adorn one side with a raised abalone shell on the other. The intentional casting of rough edges adds a natural beach-like appearance. The lid is also made of cast iron.

It is 15 inches (38 cm) tall, and 7.5 inches (19 cm) wide.

It is in good condition with no cracks, except manufacture defect of firing cracks that has been repaired by the manufacture, missing the small rings, and chips at the fan holder (as seen in the photos).
