Chinese transitional period compressed ovoid form jar decorated in underglaze blue with birds and insects flying among bamboo and flowering plants emerging from rockery set against a white porcelain ground. A Swatow type blue and white exported ware to South East Asian region. Late Ming dynasty 17th century Zhangzhou ware. Condition is very good, no any crack, no any chip and free from any restoration excepted slight with a bit warped. The lower part is the light reflection, that's not a repair. This tea bowl sized dish is decorated in underglaze cobalt on two sides of the exterior with a rapidly-brushed floral design, and with a flower on the interior base. It is well-potted and raised on a low footring with a recessed base that is glazed and reveals chatter marks from the trimming. The footring was hastily cut, with an uneven, but glazed-over area to one side. The rim shows typical fritting and glaze loss, otherwise there are no cracks or restorations...

Height approximately 12.3 cm included the lid. The lips have chipped glaze. In good condition.

A extremely rare Jingdezhen ware Ming Hongzhi Period ( 1488 - 1505 ) porcelain dish, glazed with a pale bluish - white glaze over a incised Chrysanthemum decoration. Normally the same type of decoration we know from large Ming blue and white dishes - the same decor incised is very rare to find. Diameter : 25 cm. Condition : There is just one very fine and short hairline near the base( shown on the last image ) otherwise the dish is in an excellent condition.

Height approximately 46.8 cm. Ivory color. Few hairlines at the rim. Soft frits at the rim. Few firing cracks at the rim. More pictures are available. In good condition.
