This is a nice & large pair of Japanese cloisonné vase crafted a fierce fire dragon on each vase with a blue sky background. The cloisonné vases are done with fine silver wires...

This is a very fine and unusual Japanese Satsuma vase with relief figures. The work on this piece is highly detailed and the gold thickly applied. The Dragon and clouds are decorated with silver. The piece is in very good condition will minor wear. The Artist signature is the most worn area on the piece. With magnification it can be seen that it is signed Fuzan but it is very hard to make out. I have included a similar Fuzan mark for comparison. The vase stands 8 1/2 inches tall.

Chinese Blue and White Porcelain Tea Jar or Tea Caddy, later part of 1700's, small size 3 1/4" high, 3 1/4" wide-widest middle part, 1 1/4" diameter-top rim, with underglaze blue large floral decoration between garden rocks, plus Dragon flies flying on the other side. The condition is good, no damage or restoration except firing mark about 1/2" long on the lower part of caddy.

A rare and splendid genuine Ming Dynasty Tomb Pottery Horse bending it's head down with a seated musician playing the cymbals. This is one of the earliest Ming pieces, ca. 1400 A.D., depicting a beautiful and elegant horse with fine modeling. The horse's neck is arched and it's mane and tail are glazed in a rare and vibrant turquoise color. The musician's head is removable and his robe is painted in rich cobalt blue, red and turquoise pigments...

This is cloth of indigo dyeing cotton made in Aichi in the Meiji era. It colors the both sides (Ryoumensome) with the same paper pattern. Ryoumensome could use both sides, but the quantity of the work of the dyeing was double. Most Katazome dyes only one side. Because a craftsmAn imitated Shibori of the Narumi district, this Katazome is called NarumiKongata. And Narumikongata expresses delicate rhythm of Sibori smart in Katazome. There are no damage and stain...

Fantastic antique Japanese Kutani ware sculpture of one of the fortune deities known as Hotei. The figure is carrying a child who is trying to clean the ears of Hotei. Hotei is interestingly dressed with motifs of dragons and scrolling clouds, inspired by Chinese brocades. Eggshell or semi-eggshell Chinese vase of baluster shape, Qianlong sealmark in red but probably early 20th Century, Republic period. A Chinese jar, 19th Century Kangxi revival. Wu jin or mirror black glaze and decoration in gilt of flowers and birds in reserves against a diapered background. Condition: drilled hole to the base and wear to the gilt, minor scratch marks and some wear around the neck (from the original lid, now missing). Chinese Pottery Tomb Lady Figure with partially glazed with amber to brownish robe, and hands tucked under the robe, 10 3/8" high, 2 3/4" wide, 2" deep, light brownish amber color drip glaze robe ran down to the bottom, with unglazed head and bottom feet area with some tiny old rounded chips to larger chip about 1/2" wide on the right upper arm area on the Brownish glaze.

Superbly executed ceramic monkey eating a berry with a whimsical expression of innocent delight.
