A set of six silver bowls, the center with raised omphalos. Below an acanthus bordure decorated with a band of Arabic calligraphy. No mark, but silver tested. Condition: due to the high silver content the bowls are quite soft and some are slightly distorted. Three bowls with few dents. Dimension: diameter: 10.6 cm, 5.1 cm high, total weight: 476 g.
Persian antique khatamkari marquetry chess/backgammon board. Opens to be used as either chess or backgammon board. Made with inlay of many different woods to create decorative and useful intricate patterns. Khatamkari is an ancient Iranian technique of marquetry inlay.

This is a bronze dagger from Luristan dating to roughly 800 BC. It measures 310mm in length and weighs 107 grams. There are no repairs and the only damage appears to be on the "rams horn" decorated pommel. The bronze has a nice untouched patina. The metal is stable and solid.
Two trouser cuff fragments of Persian women with different nakshe embroidery. The linen ground entirely embroidered in polychrome silks with diagonal bands of flowers. Backed and bordered with linen. Condition: faded, old mends. Dimension: 49 cm x 33.5 cm and 45 cm x 34.5 cm.
This antique Islamic footed cosmetics makeup kohl jar dates back to the 11th-12th century (Medieval). It is made of bronze and comes from Khorassan. The jar is designed in the form of a small bottle, with a compressed body and a long-tapered neck. It is adorned with two incised rings and a wide flared lip and rests on four legs with bent feet. An antique 17th-century Islamic, Tatar sword-saber Ordynka, mounted with a 16th-century European Italian blade.
The sword's hilt has a finely hand-carved hardwood grip, with beautiful natural grains, and a small pistol-shaped pommel. The brass crossguard has short, slightly downturned quillons, bud-shaped terminals, and a pair of langets. It is made of two halves riveted by iron pins at the terminals. Antique 16th century Turkish Ottoman gold gilt-copper (Tombak) Islamic Amulet case (Ta'wiz-Muska) of hexagonal cylindrical form the bottom part adorned with engraved ornament. The upper part with two small integral rectangular suspension loops, allow the amulet to be suspended with a silk cord from the neck. originally held a Qur’anic verse.
According to the previous owner, this amulet case was found before World War II on the Mohacs battlefield in Hungary...
