This is an exceptional example of a bronze sword from ancient Luristan (circa 1000BC). It has a choice patina and is very clean overall. The handle would have been inlaid with bone, wood or ivory which is now long gone. Three original rivets remain in the handle and at least one of them moves freely back and forth without falling out. This sword measures 387mm and weighs 226 grams. The blade has a pronounced mid rib. It shows very little wear or damage...
Antique Indian gold damascene iron shield. Original remnants of the hand grip materials, which consist of leather and cushion cut velvet remaining on the inside of the shield. Four protruded mounts are gold damascened with fine floral detailing.

Antique 19th century North African Islamic Moroccan, Berber terracotta pottery double handled vessel in the form of amphora. The vessel is hand painted around the body and neck, in pale red and black, with classic Berber tribal geometrical designs.

An antique ceramic bowl that was made in Nishapur during the 10th century A.D. (4th Century A.H.) in the style of the Tang dynasty. It is decorated with splashes of green, yellow, and brown glaze in the Chinese Tang-dynasty sancai style. The bowl is made of red earthenware, with a white slip, incised engobe, and decoration in the sgraffito technique.
