Mexican Pre Columbian Tlatilco Terracotta Head. Rare fragment from an early culture c 1200bc-600bc. Tlatilco is noted in particular for its high quality pottery pieces, many featuring Olmec iconography. Tlatilco figures were known for their elaborate hair styles. This head has the classic eyes a large detailed hair style neck piece and earrings . Size 2.25" by 1.5"

An ancient-medieval bronze bowl of the high tin content 'white bronze' type with engravings of the Gaznavids, dating to c. 10th-11th. century AD.

A massive bowl, likely a food bowl for really large parties. The interior of the bowl is almost completely covered with fine azurite patina and when cleaned would reveal the fine design of incised circles-dots (bulls-eye) and perhaps hexacons as well; the exterior is cleaned and plain.

This large and impressive pottery jar of exceptional form was made during the Five Dynasties period (AD 907 - 960) or possible the early part of the Song Dynasty (AD 960 - 1279). It is a wide-bodied jar with sturdy handles and quite a small flat base, an unusual form for this period...

An attractive double chambered bridge vessel with bow handle and a human head, body with relief decorations, Pre-columbian Chimú, 1250-1450 AD.

Size: 21,5 cm. wide and 18,5cm. tall.

Condition: Nice Very fine, hairline closed crack in the body and some light chipping of edges, othervise complete and intact.

Found in the Philippines. Green-glazed stonewares from Zhejiang province were widely exported to the Philippines, Indonesia and mainland south-east Asia. Local potters emulated the Chinese wares, and by the 14th century, Thailand and Vietnam had developed successful ‘celadon’ industries of their own...

A Tang dynasty yue yao jar with two lugs, rounded side with six lobed and unglazed base. Jar is in good condition with glazed degradation, chip to foot rim, no cracks, no hairlines and free from restoration. Size: 8 cm diameter, 9 cm height.

Rare Ming Qingbai Louhan Stand . several frittings on the ares, no cracks or hairlines and free from restorations. Height : 17.5 cm.

This is a late sung or yuan white glaze vase with Lotus pattern, but it is broken from the neck upper portion, but still an great artifact for ceramic collection in your private Museum....

Song dynasty lobed jar. 10cm diameter. crackled glazed.

An nice larger mirror in bronze, Islamic, 10th.-12th. century AD.

The islamic bronze mirrors were typically made in the Chinese style of the Han Period with added islamic elements. This mirror is large and with a recessed face and undecorated back. Small loss to the handle.

Condition: Choice, fine smooth water-green patina. Old Collection tag on the reverse.

Chinese Song Dynasty Qingbai Glazed Porcelain Dish (with decoration)

This saucer-dish was made during the Song Dynasty (AD 960 - 1279). Its inner surface and outer wall are coated in a very finely-crackled pale qingbai glaze that has just a hint of green. The inner surface is decorated with what appears to be an impressed floral decoration although the impression is quite faint. The rim remains purposely unglazed as does the flat concave base...
