A intricately done Chinese fencai with motif of dragons scrolling vines, and peonies. Fine brushes made from different materials with caps to cover the tip were often part of a scholar literati's desk and were called the four treasures of the scholar's studio. This is a medium size bamboo brush pot with a mountain scenery. It is very well carved with many fine details. It even has the name of the mountain with scrolling heavenly clouds at the top and then with the pine and bamboo tress set behind a mountainous background. This is an authentic nephrite pendant dating to the Qing dynasty. Two zoomorphic figures frame the central bi on this exceptionally well-carved object. The piece shows substantial alteration in the stone, which is of a grayish hue with a large darker area on one side. Height is 2-3/4" by 3-1/4" in width. Please examine the photos which accurately capture the color and carving quality.

This is a very rare and wonderful Japanese Cloisonne box. There are a wide variety of enamel colors and designs making this a very unique piece. The designs, mottled and translucent enamel colors strongly suggest that Honda is the artist. The rims are also Bronze and appear to have never been silver plated. Condition is excellent. There is minor scuffing to the bottom corners. The box measures 5 1/4 inches by 4 1/4 inches and is 2 1/4 tall

Late Qing Dynasty (1880s to 1911) Chinese ivory seal of oval section with elegantly and crisply carved Chinese characters on the base and traces of red seal paste in the grooves. The impression of the seal is shown on Enlargement 1. Mellow yellowish patina, overall in very good condition. Very nice object for scholar’s table. Height 1 9/16 inches, base 5/8 inches long.

This is a high quality and very refined pair of Japanese Cloisonne vases. Though not quite as prolific work as on some pieces, the quality is very high. With almost pitless enamel and a high highly sheen, these vases glow. Condition is excellent and these vases are 4 3/4 inches tall.

This is a wonderful cabinet vase by Gonda. This vase is not signed but Gonda was the master of this style of cloisonne. These wireless iris vases are not only highly desirable, but are also not easy to come by. The vase measures 3 3/4 inches tall. Condition is excellent.

This is a beautiful Meiji era Cloisonne vase. It is larger than most of these intricate panel vases and stands 7 1/2 inches tall. Looks great, but does have a tiny craze line in the right upper corner of one blue panels.
