Antique Japanese storage tansu made with all keyaki (elm) wood on the front, sugi (cryptomeria) wood on the top and sides. The upper portion of the tansu has a large compartment opened by sliding panels with wide, horizontal slats. The lower portion has 5 drawers of various sizes. Square drawer pulls are made of iron. Original translucent, deep reddish lacquer finish. This tansu was most likely made to seat into the wall of a house...

This is a small & superb handcrafted Chinese yixing zhisa red stone pottery teapot. There are no cracks, chips, damages. It's in excellent condition! It's marked MENGCHEN on the base.

Antique Chinese small blue and white glazed porcelain ink cake container. The lid is domed and decorated with a lively five-clawed dragon floating in a sky with wisps of clouds and the flaming jewel. The bottom portion of the container is also decorated with a wave-like pattern and a Qianlong mark. Inside are still the colorful ink remnants from it's previous scholarly owner.

19th Century Chinese Bronze Relief Bamboo Vase with Bronze Stand

It is 7.75 inches (19.7 cm) tall measured with stand by 3.15 inches (8 cm) wide. The vase is 6.65 inches (16.9 cm) tall by 3.15 inches (8 cm) wide measured without stand. The total weight including the stand is 679.7 gram.

It has rubbing of patina, cut marks, pitting, oxidation, bent at one foot, and surface wears and scratches (as seen in the photos)...

Late 19th century marine netsuke of a scholar holding a scroll. Nicely carved, decent face, good patina. Height 1.84 inches.

A Chinese hand painted porcelain miniature sleeve vase with bird scenes. Some minor wear to the enamels, otherwise condition very good, no chips, no cracks, no hairlines. Vase measures 3.5" high and dates circa 1880. A lovely piece to add to your collection.

19th C bronze Chinese vase featuring elegant lines and a beautiful warm patina. Condition is very good with some surface micro abrasions, interior with scattered dots of patination (see last photo), all of which are consistent with age. Circa 1860-1880. Antique Chinese cast bronze and hand-chiseled incense burner censer, signed with a seal mark in zhuanshu scripts, 18th -19th century, Qing dynasty.

The body of the censer is in the form of an elegant bombé vessel set with twin handles and four legs in the form of bamboo branches.

Two sides are decorated with rectangular panels hand-chiseled in a low relief on a punched background; one panel with a horned deer next to a tree, the other panel with a bird and a tree...

An antique Japanese Kasane Tansu (stacking chest on chest) made of Kirinoki (Paulownia) and Suginoki (Cryptomeria) woods. All original hand forged hardware including the Warabite style handles. The security door hides 2 drawers where valuables were kept. Constructed using straight dovetail Japanese joinery and hardened wooden nails.

19th century boxwood netsuke depicting a sitting man who is about to sneeze. The scene represents a street entertainer, in this case a man who tickles himself with a stick and sneezes for the delight of the audience. Excellent carving with unusual absurdly long and narrow head, perfectly captured facial expression, beautifully stained, wonderful patina. Height 1 3/8 inches.
