An interesting small collection of Danish Neolithic / Mesolithic axes.
The lot consist of two early, Mesolithic axes from the hunter / gatherer period. Along with these, three smaller axes from later Neolithic period, 2500-2000 BC: A smaller thinbutted axe, a specialized small axe / chisel and a neolithic imitation of an early type of bronze axe.
Sizes: 9-13,5 cm.
Condition: Nice axes with smaller chips. Nice patinas.

Antique Chinese cloisonné round container with enamel floral and "Shou" designs. The top of the lid has a round, flat jade finial. The inside top and bottom of the container has a center lotus design with inlaid metal scrolling vine patterns upon light blue enamel. Republic Period (Circa 1912)

DESCRIPTION: A fine smoked bamboo ikebana basket woven in a tall ovoid form with entwined bamboo handle. The basket is crafted with a vertical diagonal weave from both wide and narrow splints in contrasting colors. This sturdy and handsome basket has a beautiful aged patina with no losses detected; early 20th century. DIMENSIONS: 18 ½” high x 8 ¾” diameter.

Chinese Sancai glazed bowl with mark at the base. Qing dynasty, Kangxi Period. 19 cm diameter. Bowl has hairline and small chipped on restoration (please check on the pictures).

Although the shape of this rare piece is clearly a Song Dynasty shape reference images from a reputable Chinese porcelain site point to a dating to the Ming Chenghua period. Since there is a copyright to this reference images I cannot show them here.

Unusual Japanese stacking box comprised of 10 shallow compartments for the storage of important documents or calligraphy implements. The edges of each compartment are reinforced with hand-forged iron plates. The tall box is held together by a long cord.

A Chinese snuff bottle made in repoussed silver with some guilloche decoration and colorful enamel, gilt rims. Showing two young ladies, one is playing the flute. The stopper is en suite, bone spoon. Condition: traces of usage, wear to gilding, little verdigris. Dimension: height: c. 6.3 cm.
Keman in cut bronze gilded with mercury. Decorated with flowers and Karyobinga (winged musical deities). Keman are hung in Japanese temples and replace bouquets of flowers. Usually Kemans are only decorated with flowers. The one presented here is exceptional with its 4 karyobinga cast in relief and riveted on the copper plate cut with flowers. Very beautiful carving, thick gilding...
