19th Century, nicely Hand-Carved Netsuke depicting Two Standing Karakos (Chinese Boys), wearing the customary customs, and shown with the double puffs of hair on the side of their heads; one of them is wearing an Otafuku mask.
Nice mellow patina, with a couple of age hairlines. Use and holding has made the netsuke sleek and lustrous; it feels very smooth in the hand. Unsigned.

Very attractive bronze seated Disciple/Monk holding alms bowl in his left hand, which rests on his leg and gracefully helping himself with his right hand. This monk is the disciple Mahakasyapa who was particularly close to Buddha. In the tradition of the Zen-masters, Kassapa was the first monk to receive from the Buddha "without word or writing" the unspeakable highest truth of the Dharma.
This bronze statuette has a small hole on the left hand side of the base for placing incense sticks...

Japanese woodblock print depicting an actor portraying a seated samurai. The image is signed at the left side "Ichiyusai Kuniyoshi ga" (1797-1861). The red Yoshi Kiri seal is beneath the signature. The print was published by Ibaya Senzaburo between 1847-1848. The paper measures 14 1/2"V x 9 7/8"H. It is most likely a panel from a triptych. Very good overall condition with excellent color. The print is not backed. No tape or tape stains...

Edo Period Japanese woodblock print triptych by Kunisada (also known as Toyokuni III) depicting an actor portraying a samurai sitting on a veranda overlooking a garden with a beauty in the center panel. Published by Joshuya Kinzo prior to 1842. Each panel bears the signature "Gototei Kunisada ga", a publisher's seal, and the kiwame censor's seal used from 1790-1842 (see enlargement 5). Each panel measures about 14 1/2"V x 9 1/2"H. Very good overall condition...
Chinese antique large planter, round form and standing on three stout legs, around the center is a ring of applied carved porcelain butterflies with lion like heads and white glaze, around the rim is a ring of applied carved porcelain florets, the bottom has a hole for drainage. Minor losses and cracks from firing process, there is also an impressed six character mark From Jingdezhen. 19th century.

An important and rare KANGXI Period Blue & White KLAPMUTS Porcelain Bowl potted with deep rounded sides rising to an everted rim. The exterior depicts a delightful landscape scene with children and maidens possibly
at the "Yuan Xiao" Lantern Festival. The interior of the bowl has a scene with a playful boy throwing a good luck fire cracker in the center and is decorated with a Lingzhi flared border design. The foot of the bowl is also flared and has a double circle...
This small hinged metal case is covered with leather and opens to display both red ink pot and personal ivory chop. The person's name on the base of the chop is clearly carved. Leather in old China was very expensive...the owner of this chop must been a person of both status and wealth. The leather shows age but is intact and set is in very good condition. The case measures 2.5" X 1+" This is a rare old piece.
