Rimpa paint on Hinoki wood carving of Daruma. With polychrome hooded robe, decorated in tessellating pattern of gilt dragon mon and scrolling clouds on red ground. His face is painted in a fleshy tone, with painted mustache, beard, and exposed chest hairs. The iconic eyes are reverse painted glass. He stands on a blue ground painted cloud platform.

19th Century Chinese White Jade Carved Pendant with Dragonfly Lady's Handbag Marked Gump's

It is 6.5 inches (16.5 cm) long by 9 inches (23 cm) wide. The pendant is 2.2 inches (5.5 cm) long by 2.2 inches (5.5 cm) wide by 0.15 inch (0.38 cm) thick. It is 0.4 lb.

It has frayed silk and the jade has inclusions (as seen in the photos).

A good and rare underglazes-red Kendi decorated with classic-scrolls as main design. Possibly Ming dynasty 16th-17th century. Condition is good with a tiny flaked chip to the tip of the spout, no any cracks, no any other chip and free from any restoration. Height: 20,5 cm.

Very unusual late 18th to early 19th century Japanese sword bronze tsuba with cloisonne decoration of a dragon and a tiger about to engage in a fight, the back with design of bamboo and flowering prunus. One-of-a-kind!!! This is an item sui generis. A yellow glazed Raku chawan, dating from the Meiji Period (ca. 120 years old) with its original signed wood box.

The chawan is in superb condition with no chips or cracks. Around the bowl are carved chinese characters. The tea bowl is very solid and fits perfectly into the palm of the hands. Great chawan!

A late Qing oxblood / Sang de Boeuf vase of transmutational copper red, heavily potted in the “zun” shape. The glaze is thick, glassy, and intensely red, with light crazing to surface and a dense texture...

Bow adornment of a fibula in the shape of a bird. The body flat and round with a raised tiny head. Wings and feathers are rendered as incised lines. The wings crossed over the short tail.
The bone element is unpierced and was adhered to the fibula’s upper side. Metal components of the fibula missing.

A nice rare scalloped Liao plate, boldly incised with blossoms and leaves, under a cream and bright leaf green and amber glaze. Comes with a certificate from the Chinese Government Auction House. Size: Diameter. 13.5cm. Condition: A broken piece at the rim that was glued back on probably at the site. It is almost invisible on the front of the plate. See photos.

Rather unusual 18th century stag antler netsuke carved as young Yoshitsune holding naginata (a machete on a wooden shaft) as he performs a high jump over the hand of warrior monk Benkei on the Gojo Bridge.
