This is a very fine Japanese Satsuma shallow footed bowl. As can be seen in the images the workmanship is top level. It is 4 5/8 inches across and 1 1/2 inches tall. The piece is in excellent condition.

A nicely shaped and symmetrical Song Dynasty bowl, olive green glaze with minor typical wear to the glaze due to age. Outside of bowl is decorated with incised lotus leaf pattern. Antique Chinese jadeite carving of a pair of peanuts with leaves and vines growing out of their top, and a small chimera crawling along the bottom with its legs and tails pointed upwards. Peanuts are called "huasheng" in Chinese, and are considered a lucky charm for those wishing to have many children as "sheng" means "giving birth". The top of the carving has a pierced hole to be hung from a toggle.

Ming Dynasty Blue and White Bowl with a floral design. Note flaws at time of manufacture and small chip in the glaze, otherwise no chips or cracks and in overall good condition. Diameter is 10 inches and height is 2.75 inches.
A Tang Dynasty White Glaze Melon Box with lobed vertically carved lines eminating from the lid. Hair line in the glaze on lid appears to be in the glaze only. Crack in lid from time of manufacture. Height is 3 inches.

Lovely 14th-15th Century Sawankhalok bottle with two ear handles at shoulder with refined incised horizontal line markings. Glaze has a nice olive green color with some omission during glazing. Rare complete lacquer tobacco box with trays from the Karen hilltribe ethnic group Northern Thailand. Next to nothing has written about this craft amongst the Karen people although they are known for their water tight baskets using lacquer to seal the weave. H: 9.5cm/3.8in and D: 8.6cm/3.3in.
Thai 14th-15th Century Sawankhalok, Ayutthaya period, glazed ovoid shaped bottle flanked by two small ring ear handles at shoulder, and glazed in olive green celadon tones with horizontal linear markings. Nice shiny gloss to glaze falls short of base. Note slight chipping of glaze on one side. Height is 5 inches.
