A large and very nicely carved stamp seal in black stone, Anatolia/Levante, 2nd. millenium BC.

Lovely engravings of a horned bull attacked by a Lion on one side and on the other side, an impressive winged Goat, with small bearded human head above.

Antique Japanese Edo period 1600-1868, Samurai war hat Nirayama Jingasa kabuto made of finely hand-woven bamboo fiber with a black lacquered exterior, adorned on each side with gold samurai nobility family crest - moon. The interior is lacquered with red urushi.

CONDITION: Showing age and usage, signs of wear from time and long use, some lacquer loss around the edges, and minor crazing to the lacquer finish but remains in very good condition considering its age, still flexible.

Interesting lot of 4 ancient weights of different usage, Greek and roman, 3rd. cent. BC-3rd. cent. AD.

Lot includes to fine Greek larger stone weights, with loops at the top weighing 33.57 grams, and possible used for weaving, a pendant shaped lead weight with loop, Roman and finally another Roman weight of bronze shaped as a bird and weighing 33,76 grams.
