Unusually large Chinese late Qing compressed globular form incense burner with slightly everted rim supported by three short legs and covered overall with an amber-colored monochrome crackled glaze that extends to cover the bottom of the feet. The glaze drips down the walls into the unglazed interior. This censer is likely from a South China kiln. A custom-made heavy hardwood stand is included. Estimated to date from the 19th century...

Description:

A Junyao Lotus-bud bowl was in decent shape.
Stand on the well-shaped foot ring, the bowl was evenly applied with light green glaze without any decoration.
Subtle incursions in whitish condition were happened around the mouth rim and at the bottom of the foot ring.
Glaze crackles were yielded too.

Date: late N. Song to Jin periods, 11th/12th century.

Description:

A black-glazed covered box was molded with an interesting motif of butterfly on the surface.
The box was an excavated piece obtaining with obvious evidences of burial earth and whitish incursions in the glaze.
Some similar boxes were in the book of (The Collection of Chinese Box), a book of a famed connoisseur and antique dealer,Ma Wei-Du.

A good example of Ming dynasty 15th century Interregnum phase blue and white dish, decorated in the center with a Phoenix among chrysanthemum scrolls, side cavetto with fungus pattern. Underside with nicely painted of continuously floral scroll. Condition damaged into 3 large and 2 small pieces, two chips to rim. Found excavated in South-Sulawesi area. Diameter: 24.5cm.

 

It's definitely rare b/w bowl, decorated with ruyi/fungus scrolls encircled the rim, below with pomegranate pattern. Interior center with a flower medallion within double circle. Condition is very good, only two tiny chips found, but no any crack. Slight warped and stoneware body. Ming dynasty Chenghua period Jindezhen private kiln ware, but quality is good similar like imperial without mark product. Diameter: 12.5cm.

A Ming b/w bowl 15th century Interregnum period piece, decorated with a pair foliated dragons to exterior. Interior center with cloud within double circle. Condition is perfect, stoneware body. Diameter: 14.5cm.

A fine antique bronze Chinese bronze buddha with very fine details in the hand mudra postures. Measuring approx. 8 inches tall a fine example.

Blue & White saucer dish with slight thickly potted, decorated at interior center of a figure with back ground of the mountain, underside with scroll and sitting figurine also. Condition is good near to perfect, only minor fritting to rim and having very short glaze hairline which impossible to catch by camera. Ming dynasty early 16th century Hongzhi-Zhengde phase. Diameter: 12.3cm.

A fine blue & white covered box in circular form, decorated to the top with a duck swimming among lotus pond under very strong and bright cobalt blue tone. Late Ming dynasty 17th century. Condition is very good, only the cover rim have a tiny flake chip, otherwise is perfect. Diameter: 8cm.

Description:

A precious Zitan wood brush-licker was intriguingly carved with sea-waves patterns on the surface.
By waving-like circular rim, the scholar vessel was in dark tint and was reflected with purplish tint on the fretting rim. The characteristic Ox-Furs' wood grains were yielded.
It was a decent piece by good design and well maneuvered carvings.

A beautiful examples of Ming dynasty early 16th century Hongzhi period, decorated outside with continuously chrysanthemum scrolls, inside with Tibetan characters supported by lotus flower, lotus petals medallion in the center. Condition is broken like indicated on the pictures with no any missing pieces, only found a tiny chip to rim. Diameter: 15cm.

This fine quality and likely late vintage Meiji-Taishō era 4-3/8" tall Japanese porcelain hand painted vase is by the renowned Fukagawa Porcelain Company firm of Japan c1900-20. This vase has a blue tassel and two painted small floral groups in gold, green, orange and black. There is a gold upper rim. Chinese Yuan to early Ming dynasty very heavily potted melon form sugary textured pale bluish-white porcelain lidded teapot decorated with moulded stylized birds on opposing sides. A prominent luting line is visible around the mid-section of the ribbed body and the interior is glazed. Small loops are at the edge of the lid and top of the rounded handle for attachment. The slightly concave unglazed base and old firing flaws have oxidized burnt orange. Circa 14th century...

Large Chinese Jin dynasty (1125-1234) Henan globular form stoneware jar with a high neck decorated on opposite sides of the shoulder with two appliqué dragons running around the circumference of the horizontally ribbed body. The interior is fully glazed and the exterior glaze stops well above the unglazed base. The rich black/brown glaze, referred to as “temmoku” by the Japanese, is permeated with russet accents. 7 3/4" high x 9" diameter.
