This fine pottery model of a horse was made during the Western Han Dynasty (206 BC - AD 8). It is made from a fairly high-fired fine-grained grey pottery and has been "cold painted" in a pale pink pigment with details on top in red and black pigments. The horse stands upright and alert.

Beautiful and rare mid-century modern bracelet by Salvador Teran, c. 1955. The matching brooch and earrings are featured in both editions of the book MEXICAN SILVER by Morrill and Berk. The bracelet measures 7" around in the inside when closed and is 2" wide at the widest front section. It has a secure push in clasp and original safety chain. All original, fine condition. Offered is a wonderful, circa 1920s, hanging, Apothecary Show Globe fashioned in the Art Deco style, complete and all-original. Very often hung in the front window of the local drug store to attract customers, these show globes were frequently filled with colored water to add extra depth and interest to their sculpted appearance.
