Properly signed Margot de Taxco by Margot Van Voorhies Carr. The construction is open backed repousse with a strong frame around the edges that make it not bendable as well as 70 grams of silver thickness. This silver is exceptionally higher than 925. The gap is 1 inch and the diameter for fit is 2.25in. The height of the cuff is 1 7/8th inches tall. This is an example without damage and is also a very rare Margot. This should be at the top of any collectors list.

We are offering a Hector Aguilar cuff with a weight of 70 grams. The height in front is 1in. and it spans 1 3/8th's inch at the swirls on the ends. It is currently a 1 inch gap and a 2.5in. diameter. The patina is quite warm and naturally rich. This bracelet can be made larger or smaller by a professional silver smith. No flaws and a pleasure to wear. Properly hallmarked as shown with Made in Mexico and sterling in the outside circle with the HA in it's center.

This is a deeply chased single swirl which is hallmarked with the Victoria circle, a worn eagle, and also Cony which was another shop that Anna opened in 1958 that was named after Anna's daughter. Margot de Taxco design # 5120 with amethyst drops is rare. This beauty is properly hallmarked on both the chain and the drop. The necklace is 17.5 inches long and has a weight of 72 grams heavy. The repousse is deep and the patina is natural and dark in it's recesses. In some not all pictures the amethyst show internal striations when camera light was flooded upon them, but these are not cracks or pits and do not rise to the tops of the stones. They look dark in your hands with natural light...

Antique Japanese furoshiki wrapping cloth, dyed in aizome (indigo dye) with a paste-resist family crest. This type of fabric now belongs to the Mingei, folk art of Japan, and has been popular by many collectors. The fabric is thick but a soft cotton, all hand-sewn in excellent condition (3 to 4 tiny holes shown in last enlargement). The other white spots are from the cotton stuffing. Dimensions are 46" x 53 1/2" from Meiji period (1868-1912).
A very rare newly excavated Yuan dynasty blue and white big bowl with mandarin ducks motif, rounded side with flarred rim and unglazed base, bowl decorated with good under glaze Persian / imported blue (Hamadan blue) of continuous flower motif at the exterior, inner rim with classic scroll and center with two mandarin ducks on the lotus pond, the bowl need some restoration.

This is a museum quality and large amber glazed pouch ewer from the Liao Dynasty (907-1125). Tall and handsome, it stands on a flat splay foot rising upwards to a bulging side body with a long vertical spout with foliated mouth rim and a rounded handle instead of the pinch handle.
