A very good sized sculpture of Pedanda, a Brahman priest of the highest caste. This is a traditional sculpture, not a piece for tourists. It's made of hard wood, very intricately carved and has a subtle polychrome. H. 51 cm. Condition: expected age wear and a few age cracks. Please refer to the detailed pictures. Chinese Qing dynasty Guangxu period cylindrical form rouleau vase with a narrow columnar neck and cupped rim, decorated overall in gilt with cranes flying among stylized lucky clouds set against a powder blue ground. A band of lappets extends around the circumference of the base. The angled shoulder is encircled by a band of bats and scrolling foliage. These diamond and pearl cluster earrings date back to the late Victorian era. The center pearls on each earring are surrounded by eight old miner cut diamonds. The approximate total weight of all diamonds is 0.65 Ct. The 4.5 mm pearls seem to be natural pearls, but were not x-rayed.

The Jacopo brothers had a silver house in Mexico City named Art en Plata in which they carried artisans from Taxco as well as their own designs. Correctly hallmarked with a Taxco artist AJ and a design number 49. This necklace is extremely well crafted with a weight of 169 grams. The repousse bars are 1 1/8th tall and show a 6mm depth. There are hand made disc beads in between the matchstick bars that are 4mm thick. An excellent example which is strung on cable and exhibits no damage whatsoever...

Large Chinese Eastern Han Dynasty Pottery Pig / Boar (AD 25 - 220)

This pottery model of a pig was made during the Eastern Han Dynasty (AD 25 - 220) and has been excavated from Sichuan province. It is quite "heavily-potted" and made from a red pottery. It has its snout close to the ground, clearly sniffing for truffles, and a moulded curly tail ! To the rear of the underside is a large firing hole.

This is a large example with a length of 36 cm (14 inches)...

Margot Van Voorhies Carr designed and hallmarked this Mexican Silver Renaissance necklace. The stones are more jelly colored and are better than normally seen in Mexican silver. It is without damage and does have a wearable length of 15in. naturally to 16.5in. with an included heavy extension. The weight is 95 grams and the link is 1in. tall. I am listing on my site the matching bracelelet as shown in the last picture. A definite example for collectors, just LOOK AT THAT NECKLACE!

Enrique Ledesma was known for his ability to inlay stone next to silver as if it were one continuous flow of material. This is a showy 1in. tall and 7 inches long bracelet weighing 70 grams. You can see that there is substantial stone when looking from the top view of the bracelet. Their are no cracks or chips just natural matrix running through the stone making this piece perfect for a collector and museum.

A Viennese cold painted bronze figural, mid to late 19th century. Depicts a young girl seated in a chair and playing with a small cat that is on the girl's lap. The girl is laughing at the cat as she plays with a fringed stick that the cat is grabbing. Another cat is located underneath the girl's chair - probably wishing it could be playing as well. This charming bronze is believed to date to the Victorian era, circa 1860's to 1890's. Excellent condition...

Each bears an impressed seal in the base reading Toyosuke from the Nagoya studio of Toyoraku (also read Horaku) dating from the later 19th century. Inside each cup is a stylized single plum blossom.
