A very unusual huanghuali scholar's container made of one solid piece of wood. There is no plug at the base. These types of designs are very desirable for collectors of huanghuali pieces. It probably had a lid. Age: 18th century. Size: H. 7cm. W. 11.7cm. Condition. No repairs. Some old minor chips on the rims.

Blue & White circular box, with centre decorated of rosette design surrounded by wave pattern and continuously Lotus scroll to up and down part to body. Ming dynasty 15th century, Xuande period Jindezhen private kiln ware, collected in South Sulawesi area. Condition: very short firing crack appear to cover, invisible restored to one chip to rim and slightly degradation to glaze on the cover, further the bottom with good condition and glaze it's better. Diameter: 9.5 cm

Blue & White dish with foliated lip rim, slightly thinly potted and flute sides cavetto, decorated with Qilin in the center surrounded by emblems motif. Underside with continuously Chrysanthemum scroll. Ming dynasty 15th century Yongle-Xuande period. Condition: restored. Diameter: 20.5 cm.

Recent excavated from Borneo site Longquan celadon large dish, decorated at interior with twin fish in the center and incised scrolls motif to cavetto wall. Underside rim area with unusual single fish, it's very rare example of Song-Yuan large dish with this kind motif. Unfortunately damaged without missing pieces and amateur glue repaired, but the glaze is still very fine covered with slight deep banana leaf green glaze. Diameter: 37cm.

A white glazed ewer, with slightly lobed body and foliated rim, covered overall with milk white glaze to whole body except unglazed foot rim. Song dynasty 11th-12th century, possibly Jindezhen ware. Condition is perfect except tiny chip on tip of the spout, no cracks. Crackled glaze to all over the body. High: 20 cm

Chinese early Republic period porcelain bowl decorated in famille rose enamels against a turquoise ground with a magpie bird perched on a limb surrounded by wisteria, peony flowers, and scrolling vines. To the left of the bird is a red “Dayazhai” (Abode of Great Refinement) hallmark. To the left of this mark is a small red oval panel holding two dragons and the script “Tian di yi jia chun” (“Heaven and earth are united as one family in spring”)...

A finely celadon dish, heavily potted and with foliated rim sides, decorated incised to the interior with floral sprays, Covered overall with superbly olive green glaze tone till the foot, a circular firing stand scars appear to the orange pale unglazed area. Ming dynasty 15th century Longquan ware. Condition is perfect, no any chips, no crack and free from any restoration. Diameter: 26.5 cm

Description: A tripod bronze censer was in archaic Ding-type. Preserved rarely with original bronze water chestnut shaped stand and bronze reticulated and simplified Baosan typed cover, the censer was reserved with darkened patina. It was a small and elegant bronze censer which was used by accompanying with the ancient Chinese instrument Qin when it was playing. The bronze censer was therefor called as Qin censer...

This Chinese pipe is from the Miao Ethnic Minority group in the vicinity of Rong Jiang. My Miao friends insist that this pipe would have been used for smoking tobacco and not opium. Made from silver alloy, the stem design has the two dragons chasing the center pearl.

The pipe is in very good condition and is 19" long and it comes with its own custom made stand.

Blue & White jar, divided in to six panels, three panels decorated with a Lady and another three panels with Flower. Six character mark on the base "Da Ming Jia Jing Nien Zhe", Ching dynasty 18th century, possibly Yong Chen period.Perfect condition. Added with an old hand made silver to the cover and rim...

A rare example of Jindezhen 'Shu Fu' ware white glaze dish, decorated incised with a Dragon in the center and continuously lotus scroll to the cavetto, underside is plain and covered overall with clean and pure white glazed, also with typically Yuan dynasty unglazed base. Condition unfortunately with badly damaged to rim sides like indicated on the pictures, otherwise it would be a high valued item. However it's still a rare and good study example piece. By strong scholar taste, the pottery vessel was used for storing scrolls or brush pens.
Short verses Jin Cao(Sturdy Weeds), traditional Chinese calender date Yi Chao Nien and a stamp inscriptions were well rendered by affluent carving skills.

Description: A Ge-typed porcelaneous censer was in tripod cylindrical shape. With beautiful crackle glaze, the censer expressed an elegant literati taste by its simple form. Kiln firing red was developed obviously between the glaze and body clay when numerous bubbles squeezing together all over the surface under the pale-blue tint. It was believed as an excavation piece. The inner side on the wall was left with marks of spreading roots...

Description: A wood panel was carved with a house, a plum tree, and an elephant. An odd combination when an elephant was described in Chinese garden. "Good sign(elephant) stays in my house" -a greeting words meant a lot to Chinese people. The panel or the architecture sculpture had always been bestowed with the best wishes like this. An elephant who doesn't seem to be realistic, maybe just because the carver had never seen a real one. Date: Qing Dynasty(early 19th century) Width: 19.5cm

A Ming dynasty blue & white bowl, decorated outside with continuous Lotus scroll and inside with an Emblem supported by leaf scroll within double circle, diaper pattern around the rim. This type Ming dynasty Yongle-Xuande period (1403-1435)...

A nicely carved light celadon good luck jade pendant with a country scene on the front and a good luck character on the back. Age: Late Ching. Size: H. 6cm. W. 3.8cm. Condition: Perfect.

Description:

A Ming bronze buddha was finely cast.
In serene mood, the bronze buddha was preserved in very good condition by enduring old patina.
The old gilt had been transformed into darken metal coatings.
There're three casing holes were found within the pleats.
They were rather than defects but were used for fastening to a base.
The holes were overlooked from the frontal view.
It was a fine good piece in small size but presented in grandeur look...

Description:
A magnificent bronze Guanyin was preserved in a decent look.
By a very fine condition, the bronze deity was reserved with the original patina of the painted gold leaf and the enduring old and darken bronze sheen.
Sitting on the legendary holy beast- Hong, the Guanyin was in a easy-posture with one leg resting on the back of the animal and with another leg stepping on the lotus pedestal.
She was heavily cast by fine quality of bronze and was carved by brilliant crafts...
