A very unusual huanghuali scholar's container made of one solid piece of wood. There is no plug at the base. These types of designs are very desirable for collectors of huanghuali pieces. It probably had a lid. Age: 18th century. Size: H. 7cm. W. 11.7cm. Condition. No repairs. Some old minor chips on the rims.

Recent excavated from Borneo site Longquan celadon large dish, decorated at interior with twin fish in the center and incised scrolls motif to cavetto wall. Underside rim area with unusual single fish, it's very rare example of Song-Yuan large dish with this kind motif. Unfortunately damaged without missing pieces and amateur glue repaired, but the glaze is still very fine covered with slight deep banana leaf green glaze. Diameter: 37cm.

This Chinese pipe is from the Miao Ethnic Minority group in the vicinity of Rong Jiang. My Miao friends insist that this pipe would have been used for smoking tobacco and not opium. Made from silver alloy, the stem design has the two dragons chasing the center pearl.

The pipe is in very good condition and is 19" long and it comes with its own custom made stand.

The old gilt had been transformed into darken metal coatings.
There're three casing holes were found within the pleats.
