Patino was known for quality early vintage Mexican silver jewelry. The repousse surrounds each hand carved stone like a well made picture frame. It's sweeping flourishes and expertly carved masquettes set this piece apart from others. There are no dents or chips to the stones (reflections are seen) and all the hinges are straight and sound. The width is 1.5 inches tall and the length is 7.5in. This repousse bracelet weighs 56 grams heavy. Truly a lovely piece.

Spectacular design and execution in this sterling and saw tooth bezel set coral ring by Santo Domingo silversmith Julian Lovato. He began working in 1938 and was a silversmith for Frank Patania Sr. in the Thunderbird Shop. This ring was made during his time there as it has his own signature as well as the Patania Thunderbird Shop mark. Julian Lovato has been the winner of numerous awards for his fine creations. This Chinese ethnic minority hat was worn by child and is heavily laden with silver ornaments. The lower border of the top section of the hat has a band of stars. The traditional eight immortals with the god of longevity grace the front of the hat. And there are lots of bells and butterflies hanging from silver chains. The embroidery represents various animal characters...

Scottish Loch by Frances E. Jamieson (British, 1895-1950), oil on canvas. F.E. Jamieson was a prolific painter of Scottish Highland scenes, who used a variety of different pseudonyms. Canvas size: 16" x 24". Illegible signature in lower left. Offered in a modern custom frame with metal thistle corners. Excellent condition.

Large scroll or ribbon pin by William Spratling c. 1945. It is pictured on page 45 of Morrill and Berk's book MEXICAN SILVER. It is crafted of sections of silver with copper and gold. A bold size, measuring 3" by 2 1/4", it is in fine original condition, weighs 37 grams, and is appropriately signed for William Spratling as shown in the photo. A glorious pin.

A finely mold Junyao Meiping was in decent form.
It was decorated on the surface with characteristic and favored purple splashes.
Obviously unearthed from burial, the bottle was found on the surface with harden adhesives when wiring glaze crackles were yielded in a charming way.

Here is a pair of lovely earrings with nice long dangles – the entire earring measures 1-3/4 long, and the dangle is 1-5/16”. They measure just under 1/2” at the widest point. The dangles have a charming bird and flower motif. They are black enamel and gold plate or gold filled. Damascene jewelry has been made since the Victorian era in Portugal and Spain, and earrings with lever-back findings like these came into production c. 1900...

A very rare Gerardo Lopez clamper with deep red poured glass for accent to the foliage motif. Having a 3in. face it has a striking presence. The weight is 75 grams and has no dents or damage. The dark spots are a reflection off the camera.

Description:

A bronze Buddha of Ming Dynasty was well preserved with fine gilding condition on the surface.
By darken sheen and with very limited abrasion on the ridges of the carvings, the Buddha was kept in a perfect condition except loss of the undercover.
Red protection slip was painted inside the hollowed inner side.

A rare and recently excavated b/w bowl, decorated with cranes and deers among pines tree, it's kind of typical painted from Ming dynasty Hongzhi period (1488-1505) private kiln ware, but very unusual to found a character mark on base and should be a valuable piece for documented to private kiln ware with variously mark sign. Condition with one chip to the rim and restoration would be for free. Diameter: 14.6 cm and High: 6.5 cm.
