A rare Jizhou ware tea bowl, decorated to the exterior with tortoiseshell glaze, and with paper cut decoration of twin phoenix among a flower medallion in the center and butterflies reversed in dark brown against a veriegated buff ground on the interior. Song dynasty 12th-13th century from the kiln of Yonghe, Ji'an, Jiangxi province. Condition is perfect without any chip, no crack and free from restoration except glaze degradation.
