Antique Japanese hair ornaments, Gin(Silver) Kanzashi with bira-bira danglings. This is an unusually large and heavy Kanzashi probably worn by Geisha. It was made for a very special occasion when a particularly elaborate hair style was needed. The ornaments are all made with silver and the bodies are plated on mixed metals. 16 petals chrysanthemum heads. This one is definitely for Kanzashi collector. Shorter one is tarnished more than the other

Description: An exquisite conical Yaozhou bowl was molded with beautiful motifs of flowers and tendrils in the cavetto. Preserved in perfect condition, the bowl's foot ring was adhesive with kiln sands. Numerous bubbles were characteristically revealed in the glaze. Completely charming and adorable and beautifully executed vintage 1940s carved wood turtle figural brooch with black and white glass eyes. He is a great size and completely three dimensional and is just as much fun sitting on a table or desk as he is as a pin. A classic 1940s piece and rare to see one so well executed with such excellent detail.

RARE RARE Antonio Pineda Black Discs and Swiveling Setting Bracelet ,c.19555-60 featured on page 181 of the book SILVER MASTERS OF MEXICO by Penny Morrill. It measures 6 3/4" around in the inside and is 3/4" wide. It is in beautiful original condition. There are no chips or cracks to the stones. Signed as shown. This piece speaks for itself.

Vintage Art Deco Bauhaus style demi-parure in chrome, the early plastic Galalith, and so-called "Peking glass" beads simulating jade, by the German maker Jakob Bengel. This set dates from the early 1930s. The wrapped chrome elements are the same as those in a necklace pictured on page 162 of the Jakob Bengel monograph by Christianne Weber.

The large pale yellow and green marbled beads are Galalith, which is an early plastic similar to Bakelite, which was used primarily in Europe...

Vintage 1930s French Art Deco Bakelite bangle bracelet with applied metal seahorses and faux glass based pearls. Tests positive for Bakelite using Simichrome and 409. Unsigned, made by JHP Paris, which is very well known for its distinctive Bakelite and metal jewelry featuring whimsical animals, most often seahorses. I have owned several marked French pieces.

A rare of excavated pieces of Changsha type bowl was found in South Sulawesi area and exactly not from shipwreck in Belitung Sumatera. Bowl with everted rim and square-cut foot. Decorated in brown and pale brown under a green glaze with a freely drawn floral motif in the center and brown area on the rim. Late Tang dynasty 9th century, Hunan Changsha ware. Condition is excellent with no any cracks and no chips, also still with very finely glaze. Diameter: 15.9 cm. Note: Reportedly from Indonesia...
