Virabhadra, incarnation of Shiva, is often depicted in solid bronze plaques. This one however is remarkably fine, with its delicate openwork. It dates from the 16th century, possibly earlier and was made in West India. It has a warm brown patina and appropriate age wear. There is a very old repair just above the small figure on the left. Height 26 cm (the sculpture), 32 cm including the stand.

Blue & White bowl, with rounded sides and decorated outside in underglaze cobalt blue of Eight Buddhist Emblems. These are, the Wheel, Conch Shell, Parasol, Canopy, Fish, Flower, Jar and Endless knot. Lotus panels surrounded on the foot and wave pattern around the mouth rim. A blue & white dish, the interior decorated with variety of fishes among lotus and weeds, the walls of exterior with three friends of winter. Ming dynasty late 16th to early 17th century. Condition restored to two re-stuck area at the rim. Diameter: 30 cm.

Decorated with figures taking from the famous Chinese legend story of 'Thang Shan Chan journey to the West', vividly painted style. Transitional period 17th century late Chongzhen-Shunzi. Condition is excellent. High: 18cm and Diameter: 20.3cm

Description: An ivory toggle was in beautiful patina. The honey-brown coloured surface was spread with numerous crack lines which was due to hundreds of years of enduring age. Date: Ming Dynasty (15-16th century) Length: 5.2cm Width: 3.3cm Depth: 0.8cm.

Blue & White dish, decorated in the center with a "Dancing Girl", covered underside with pale celadon glaze. Ming dynasty late 15th to early 16th century. Condition is perfect except with short hairline, it's very light glaze hairline and no possible to take a picture. Diameter: 17.8 cm.

Red pottery with a turquoise glaze, with moulded decoration of peonies. Apart from some chips to the mouth rim this censer is in a very good condition. H. 15 cm, diameter 12 cm. Width from handle to handle 18 cm. Ming Dynasty (1368-1644).

Remnants of yellow glaze covers this Heishi (Heiji) bottle form from the Owari-Seto area engraved clearly about the neck with three lines. A quintessential Kamakura pot. There is much degradation to the glaze typical of Seto which has withstood a millennium of earthquake, fire, war and abuse. That anything survives so long in Japan is miraculous. It is 9-1/2 inches (24 cm) tall, 6-1/2 inches (16.5 cm) diameter and comes wrapped in old cloth in an old wooden box.

This pouring vessel is in the form of an amber glazed rooster. It dates from the Ming period. Measure : H=16 cm, W = 9 cm, L= 20 cm. It is in excellent condition with the exception of a little crack on the tail of rooster and glaze degradation on some area.

Bowl covered with green celadon glaze , unglazed base. PERIOD : late Ming (1566-1643 AD) MEASUREMENTS: 16 cm wide. CONDITION: a yiny frit and chip ; free from restorations.

A brass bowl of rounded form with engraved decoration and beautiful patina. Between two bands of interlace decorated with quatrefoils, arabesques and calligraphic inscriptions. Base with islamic numerals. Condition: some wear, little dents, a small crack. Dimension: diameter: 24 cm, 12.2 cm high, weight: 1145 g.

Kangxi Period (1662-1722) Chinese blue and white porcelain export covered jar decorated on one side with the "one hundred antiques" motif and on the opposite side with figures in a landscape. Auspicious symbols decorate the lid. The 4-character hallmark on the base appears to translate "record of beauty, benevolence and profit." 8 1/2"H and diameter. Finial replaced. Numerous old chips to the cover and base.

Tall (17 1/4"H) Chinese transitional period wucai gu beaker vase decorated around the circumference in underglaze blue and overglaze polychrome pigments and black outlined highlights with figures, phoenix birds and a crane in a garden setting. Three continuous vignettes are interspersed with flowers, rockery and clouds. The top rim features a "cracked ice" motif in underglaze blue within a decorative band. Excellent condition...

Jar decorated with floral scroll on the body and clouds around the neck, and petal panels near base. Chenghua. Height = 10.8 cm Perfect condition, no chips, cracks, hairlines or restorations, tiny frittings on the mouth.

Covered box decorated with Qillin and floral on the cover, glazed base. PERIOD : Wanli (1563 – 1620 AD) MEASUREMENTS: 16 cm wide. CONDITION: very good, a firing crack to the box rim, professional restoration to the V shape broken of the cover.

Waisted cylindrical form scholar's huanghuali wood brush pot with a slightly raised flat base and three low rounded feet. The feet, base and rim are finished with a finely executed narrow raised band. A blue & white small bowl, well balance and slightly thinly potted, decorated inside with Peony scroll and rosette design on the center, double circle on the base. Late Ming 17th century. A fine and vividly painted of Swatow late Ming phase jar with horses decoration on the body. Late Ming 17th century. Condition and glaze is very good except tiny two tiny flaked glaze to mouth rim, otherwise is perfect. High: 8 cm.

Standing well balance in three legs, globular body slight similar to the 'zhadou' form and covered overall at the exterior with blue ground sapphire glaze and inside with white greenish 'duck egg' tint. Ming dynasty possibly 16th century in perfect condition. Mouth Diameter: 11.7cm and High: 9.2cm.

A finely blue ground garlic head vase, decorated with a biscuit Lizard swirling to the neck. Late Ming dynasty in perfect condition. Height: 22cm.

A blue and white glaze water dropper in mandarin shaped. Age: Anamese, circa 15th century Measurement: Height 6 C.M./ Width 8 C.M. Condition: very good with fault firing on the base and on the neck.

Decorated with chilong on the exterior, glazed base. Diameter = 7.7 cm, Height = 3.5 cm. Late Ming Condition : excellent, no chis, cracks, hairlines and restorations.

A fine one of b/w bowl with well balance potted, decorated to the exterior with cranes on the flight among clouds scroll and supported by trigram motif. Inside the center with a crane and diaper pattern border to rim. Four characters mark of "Qang Ming Ru Gui" to the base within double circle. Ming dynasty 16th century Jiajing ware in perfect condition. Diameter: 12.5cm and High: 6.3cm.

A nice polychrome saucer dish, decorated in the center with "Moon Hare" in red and green enamel. Ming dynasty 16th-17th century. Condition is very good, except very fine short glaze hairline visible on enlargement 4 and no chips. Enamel condition is very good also and original without "re-painting". Note: usually we found this type ware with the enamel degraded cause buried for very long times and re-painting until seems like original. Guarantee it pieces original made of the period...

Description: A beautiful Longquan bowl was kept in perfect condition. In fantastic celadon glaze, light whitish incursions was dispersed around the mouth rim and at the foot rim. When potted heavily of the body, carved motifs were in the the middle of the cavetto and around the outer surface. A good Ming ware with typical shape can be ideally used in a practical way.
