Striking example of the famous sterling, suede and leather "X" belt with dots designed (1940's) by Taxco, Mexico artist Hector Aguilar(1905-86). Currently measuring 2 1/4" Wide by 26" Long. A set of 12 uniquely crafted masks of devils dating from the Meiji period enclosed in a period custom made kiri-wood box titled Kodai-men Hina-gata Juni-ko (12 miniature ancient masks). They are created from clay covered in gofun and mineral pigments with inset eyes of glass and ivory teeth and horns. Each mask is roughly 9 x 8 x 5 cm (3-1/2 x 3-1/4 x 2 inches). Rare Penti Sarpaneva 830 silver ring this is a stunning piece. Multi-layered and very impressive it is topped by a "lace" type flat-top pyramid and has excellent patina. The ring is currently a sz 6.5 but it's adjustable due to its open shank. Its face measures 1 3/8" square and it will rise approx. 7/16" off the finger when worn. It weighs 18.2 grams and is fully signed as shown, dating in 1972.

Description:

A black-glazed Cizhou censer was characteristically decorated on the the surface with striking russet strips.
Supported by three squeezed feet on the bottom, the censer owned a round body which extending upward to a wide mouth.
The mouth was framed with a flat band of rim which in everted slope.
It was well preserved in perfect condition and owned the very characteristics for authentication.

The luckiest sign of the Chinese zodiac, the dragon, is depicted on the front of this 14Kt gold early 20th century locket. The eye of the dragon is a small green garnet, and the fire in the mouth is a cabochon amethyst. The front is in great condition as well as the inside including the bezel and the glass, the back of the locket has some light, negligible dimples. The diameter of the locket is 1”.
