Description:

A black-glazed Cizhou jar was uniquely decorated on the surface with ribbed lines.
It was a characteristic type of jars of Cizhou wares.
More uniquely, there are Chinese characters "Chang" which most likely as Chinese last names were inscribed on both loops.
They were finished by ribbed techniques.
Accordingly of the names, the jar was believed a custom-made ware by noble people.
It was a more valuable piece then.

Beautiful bib necklace made from soft green silk cord, small shells, and one centered cross sectioned shell, in the style of the Miriam Haskell jewelry made during the 1930s and 1940s from natural materials. The silk cord is knotted in an intricate and dramatic fringed design. The length can be adjusted by "buttoning" one of several end strands through the loop at the clasp. A nice one blue & white bowl, exterior decorated with seven emblems supported by continuous leaf scrolling design below key-fret border around the rim, the interior center with one emblem within double circle, all in good painted of cobalt blue tone and well balance potted. Ming dynasty late 15th-16th century Chenghua-Hongzhi period. Condition: re-touched minor chips to rim, further in good condition. Diameter: 15 cm.

Two Meiji period Ostrich eggs hollowed and decorated with rich lacquered Maki-e designs of Uminosachi (treasures of the sea) on one, and Royal Crests among scrolling vines on the other. They come in a custom collectors compartmentalized kiri-wood box, one with the original Meiji period stand, the other with a more modern brass wire stand. They are roughly 6 inches tall each (16 cm).
