A very large (oburi) and powerful Shino chawan by Miyamura Yoshinobu very reminiscent of Hayashi Shotaro's works. Thick splashes of pure white Shino glaze punctuate the rusty red Aka-Shino glaze which covers the entire teabowl.

Wangata style teabowl with fluid dark and light cobalt decoration decorating the exterior of the chawan. Showing both Seto and Annam styles, this chawan by Nakajima Mokusen (b. 1955) has a very poetic appearance and is a very functional teabowl.

This chawan is in fine condition, was made in 2003 and has its original signed box, measuring 4.9" x 3.25".

Red highlights the gray and white of this Tea bowl by Kato Yasukage enclosed in the original signed wooden box titled Nezumi Shino Chawan.  Yasukage has cupped and misshapen the bowl into five subtly flattened sides, with an undulating rim forming five peaks, the pin-holed glaze burnt and licked crimson by the flames.
