A large and lovely platter by Koyama Kiyoko enclosed in the original signed wooden box. The wavelike surface traps the thick crystalline ash glaze in deep green pools, the edges left raw and exposed. The excessive amount of glaze is typical of this artists work, and she is known for firing her kiln for up to 14 days straight. The dish is roughly 1 foot (30 cm) square and in excellent condition.
