This is a lovely still life painting on board of an Indian pottery bowl with a single rose. Rose Ann Rose is an Arizona artist who travels extensively throughout the West and Mexico gathering material for her paintings. She loves Indian artifacts, pottery and blankets, and always puts a flower or flowers in her paintings. This framed painting measures 8" x 10" without the frame. It was painted in the 1980s.

Born in 1928, Don Doxey is well known for his photo-real western still life objects. This wonderful painting, titled "Song of the Calvary" is so realistic that it looks three dimentional.
