William DeLillo never mass produced jewelry preferring to produce only what was ordered by his high end clientele. Along with Robert Clarke of Miriam Haskell, the House of DeLillo produced some fantastic pieces including this large brooch. It is impressive. The metal is rhodium plated. Fabulous unusual early vintage necklace made from marbled Bakelite beads in honey amber with a hint of cherry and butterscotch/egg yolk colors, and carved black wood beads, all wired in darkened brass with brass caps and clasp. Marked MADE IN FRANCE, and MOD DEP, which stands for Modele Depose. Circa 1935. The honey/cherry and butterscotch beads test positive for Bakelite using Simichrome. It weighs 84 grams, but that of course includes the wood beads and the metal findings...

This McClelland Barclay deco ruby brooch is rhodium and gold plated base metal with rhinestones. It is hallmarked McClelland Barclay. It is 2" by 1 3/4" . Excellent condition. It is circa 1941.

What can be said about this set except Spectacular! If worn against black, the glittering rhinestones seem to float, unattached. If worn against a colored fabric , the japanned (blackened) metal sets off the rhinestones in a stunning and dramatic fashion. The necklace is 17 1/2" end to end, the longest fringe is 4 3/4", shortest 1 1/4". The Dangle clip earrings are 2 1/4" long. Kenneth Lane oval plaque on earrings.

This beautiful bracelet is 7 1/8" long x 1/2" wide. It is made with turquoise and pearl stones, using fine wire: the signature look of some of Hobe pieces, strung together to a metal, chain-like frame. It is in goldtone and is in excellent condition. It is unsigned.

Lane hinged bangle bracelet with two snake or dragon heads, with yellow enameling, opaque glass cabochons simulating coral, green poured glass stones as eyes, and pave rhinestones. 1960s.
