Rare vintage Thierry Mugler Couture runway festoon necklace. Large cascading rhinestones with even larger pear shaped, unfoiled drops. 15 1/2" (39.5 cm) long from the toggle to the square holder. Ca 1960 There was an original tag now lost that read "Hand Crafted Austrian Brilliants"--this lot includes heavy clip-on pendant earrings that hang 1-1/2" and a brooch that measures 2" round. Two marquise stones (one on an earring, the other on the pin)have been reset but are difficult to identify.

What can be said about this set except Spectacular! If worn against black, the glittering rhinestones seem to float, unattached. If worn against a colored fabric , the japanned (blackened) metal sets off the rhinestones in a stunning and dramatic fashion. The necklace is 17 1/2" end to end, the longest fringe is 4 3/4", shortest 1 1/4". The Dangle clip earrings are 2 1/4" long. Kenneth Lane oval plaque on earrings.

These earrings are very well made: an indicator of the fine Hobe work. The overlapping petals have nice stamp work around the bezel-set, turquoise, glass cabochon. The earrings are both clipback and screwback. They are gold plated and marked Hobe. They are in excellent condition.

This magnificent Florenza pin with hanging maltese cross is 4" long x 2 1/2". This pin is hallmarked Florenza under the pin clasp. It is in fantastic condition.
