This fine piece is beautiful with its pave-set, clear rhinestones, accented by oval (diamond) shaped, faceted stones. It is both a brooch and a pair of shoe clips. It measures 2 5/8" x 1 5/8". The frame is marked Coro Duette in script and PAT No 1798867. The actual clips are marked PAT 1852188. It is in excellent condition.

This vintage 5/16" wide paste rhinestone hinged bangle is made of dull grey pot metal (brightened in our pictures), and it has dozens of claw-set antique cut paste rhinestones. Paste of this era was less sparkly than later versions and glinted like antique cut diamonds in low lighting conditions (such as at night). This cool as a cucumber brooch is layered in greens. The center contains a cluster of aurora borealis faceted stones, the top layer has pale green navettes, while the bottom layer is encrusted with rich emerald green brilliant cut style rhinestones.
