This pretty pin combines the styles of Art Nouveau and Edwardian jewelry. A delicate trace link gold chain with faceted synthetic amethysts and freshwater pearls. The four stones are collet-set with open back. There is a slight blemish on the table of one amethyst and the chain may have been shortened. The pearls are not perfectly matched and show light wear. Marked 15c on the spring clasp. This stickpin features a burnt orange or caramel-colored oval carnelian – yummy!. It is set in (stamped) 10kt gold and surrounded by an oval gold frame set with 4 seed pearls.
