A very nice Victorian 18K yellow gold watch fob seal in the form of a seated hound dog. He (it's very obviously a male dog) is extremely well-detailed and is highlighted with a black enameled collar and cabochon ruby eyes. The carnelian seal was never engraved. This fob seal is a little larger than most and has an imposing presence. The fob is stamped with French 18K gold marks.

A delightful Victorian 14K yellow gold stickpin in the form of a smoking monkey. The face is beautifully detailed and he grasps a small pearl at the edge of his mouth to represent a cigarette. The surface is highlighted with a slightly rust-colored bloomed finish. The back is stamped with the mark for Wordley, Allsopp & Bliss.

Antique English Victorian long necklace with a watch clip in 9 karat gold. Late 19th century. The clip was used to hold items such as lorgnettes and watches, or to thread through a muff so it could be worn around the neck, falling at or below the waist. Marked A.C.C. 9CT on the clasp and also marked 9CT on a cartouche at the top of the chain. The hinge of the clasp is brass, shown on both sides in photos. Subtle rose gold setting that has a rope detail surrounding a beautiful salmon colored cabochon. From the outside edge of the rope setting, the face of the ring measures approximately 16 mm in diameter. The coral cabochon measures approximately 12 mm in diameter. A Victorian 10k yellow gold and almandine garnets brooch c1860. This antique 2" x 1/2" brooch in 10k yellow gold with genuine light pink and purplish red almandine garnet gemstones. This pin is typically unmarked and it tests as 10k gold. It has fine tooling and wirework and it has the original c-clasp. It weighs 5.1 grams and it is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, dents, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs other than a bit of indenting around the outer edge...

Beautiful antique gold ring with turquoise stones cut and fitted around a center riviere of mine cut diamonds which are set in what looks like silver. Late 19th century, with tiny marks on the outside of the shank that look like French marks, pictured but very difficult to photograph. Tests positive for 14KT gold with jeweler's acid. A very fine 18K gold brooch/pendant in the form of a mythological basilisk (cockatrice) pierced through with a jeweled sword. This example is entirely handmade and finished with expertly chased scales and feathers. The quality of workmanship is superb. A delicate finely hand crafted Italian Victorian coral cameo 14K yellow gold ring featuring a deep melon color antique cameo of classical Roman woman with fine detail features, flanked on either side by three sapphires. Circa 1865. All in excellent condition. No chips, cracks or restorations on cameo. Cameo measures 3/4" long x 1/2" wide. Ring size is about 6 1/4-6 1/2.

A fine 18K yellow gold locket, the front cover chased with an ornate scrolling pattern centering a large fleur-de-lis, itself set with an old European diamond. A very good Victorian 18K gold watch fob worked with yellow, green and rose gold in an ornate rose pattern and mounted with an oval faceted citrine. The blossoms and foliage completely encircle the domed mounting decorated with stippled engraving. The fob hangs from an ornate foliate scroll. The gemstone in a fob such as this would often have been engraved with a monogram for use as a letter seal, but this citrine was never engraved. Tested and guaranteed 18K.

Dated 1856, 18k yellow gold ring with the front engraved in a floral pattern. Beautifully done, and in great condition. The front of the band is wider, measuring 8.2 mm and it tapers in the back to 3 mm. The ring size is an 8.5 and the overall weight is 5.8 grams. Fully hallmarked on the inside for Birmingham, England 1856.

A nice 14K yellow gold locket, the front cover decorated with an ornate scene of two hunting hounds sniffing through tall grass for their prey. A picket fence can be seen in the background and then a sky lightly engraved with clouds and a sun or moon represented by a star-set old mine cut diamond. An important 19th century brooch of carved coral lilies nestled among 18K yellow gold chrysanthemum leaves set with old mine cut diamonds. The lily blossoms are fully three dimensional and are carved from the finest Mediterranean red coral, most likely harvested from the Italian coast near Naples. A terrific pair of earrings in the form of round shakudo plaques set in 14K yellow gold borders. Each of the matching Meiji-period discs features a Japanese immortal or scholar along with a fearsome dragon. Details of the dragon’s scales and fins and the man’s staff are picked out in gold and copper highlights. The gold borders are simply decorated with a ropetwist motif.
