A fine Victorian 18K yellow gold locket of modified kite shape in the Etruscan Revival style. The gold surfaces have a matte finish and are enhanced with a variety of ropetwist and beaded decorations in a sort of laced corset design. The back of the locket conceals a glass-covered compartment for a photo or hair. The locket door has a period “VBR” monogram.

Coral has been used in jewelry for thousands of years. It has been called Sea Garden because of its resemblance to a plant. A gorgeous early Victorian demi-parure consisting of a brooch and pair of earrings. Concave round white chalcedony discs are encircled in 18K yellow gold settings accented with black enamel. The center of each chalcedony disc is set with a delicately carved coral flower reminiscent of a pansy, which is, in turn, set with a natural half-pearl in a star-shaped gold mounting. This Victorian uniquely round-shaped shell cameo broach is set in 18Kt yellow gold. Depicting a masterfully carved classic woman’s face, the frame is further enhanced by a rope circle and six “roundels” with some black enamel accents. The cameos circumference is 30 millimeters and the overall diameter of the broach is 38 millimeters.

Circa 1890 bangle bracelet made of 14k rose gold, diamonds and enamel. It has 20 Old European cut diamonds totaling approximately 1.4 ct. The center panel that the diamonds are set in is probably platinum but is not marked and cannot be tested.
