An Art Deco Danecraft deer in the woods sterling pin from the 1930s-1940s. This great vintage sterling silver 2-1/8" x 1-3/4" brooch depicts a deer feeding in the forest. This pin features a safety catch, a true Deco style, and it is stamped STERLING with an HB maker's mark, and a somewhat scratched out Danecraft mark can be seen. Not sure how long this mark was used, but we have seen this combination on a few older Danecraft pieces...

A pair of Chinese jade gilt silver wirework earrings from the 1920s-30s. They have genuine Chinese jade cabochon stones and these 1" x 13/16" jadite or jadeite screw-back earrings are stamped STERLING on the closures, they have gilding over the fine silver wirework and they are in the original silk lined and trimmed box bottom (top missing, some damage to box). The top of the earrings are low grade silver, and the earring screw backs are sterling...

This delicate link bracelet features four oval cabochons, each prong-set in a decorative sterling frame. Sterling openwork panels, each set with a single marcasite, connect the frames. The ornate settings give the piece a more formal feel than Deco; possibly this dates later, perhaps the 1950s. The spring-ring clasp is secure, and is marked sterling; one of the connecting panels is also marked sterling on the back. The bracelet measures about 7¼ inches long by about 5/8 inch wide.

Yellow enamel, sterling, and marcasites art deco lapel watch, Germany, c.1920's. Geometric design in three sections make up the structure of the watch. The horizontal bar pin at the top(m.1" across) pins on to fabric. The vertical middle section has 2 diamond shaped yellow enamel pieces set amidst an irregularly shaped geometric cut out design(m 2" long). The lower diamond-shaped section(m.1 1/2" long) is the "ORATOR" watch which has yellow enamel on the back...

Large, hand made amber and silver geometric art deco design pin. It can be worn with the silver looking like a building or upside down as an architectural design. In my last treasure-hunting adventure I ended up with a couple of really really nice cross pendants and necklaces. The first one to gain center stage is this two-sided Flli Coppini Italian silver example. Executed in the .800 alloy that was the Italian standard until 1934, the pendant is crisply cast and its profusion of detail and ornamentation is easily readable to the eye...

This classic Art Deco ring is composed of two half-moons of carnelian flanking a vertical row of marcasites. The carnelian is secured by four split prongs, and there is an embossed scroll design along both sides of the shank that shows a bit of wear. The bottom part of the band exhibits a small applied piece of silver, most likely from sizing. The inside of the band is marked sterling. The oval top of the ring measures about 3/4 inch by 5/8 inch. It is sized at a 4 1/4.

A beautiful demi-parure consisting of a matching necklace and bracelet in gold washed silver with very big faceted opaline glass stones, prong set, and bezel set in the center of the necklace. Marked SILVER. Circa 1900 - 1920. Possibly French. A very unusual design, and I have never had opaline stones this big before. They have fabulous pink and blue tones which are not completely captured in the photos.

The necklace is 16 1/2 inches long and 3/4 inch wide...

Dating in the first decades of the 20th c. this Italian Renaissance Revival necklace is wrought in .800 silver and adorned with flat-cut and cabochon sodalite. Stunning very big Art Deco / Arts & Crafts silver ring with a large rectangular smoky quartz stone in a prong setting. German, circa 1920, marked 835 for silver content. The stone, which has many naturally occurring inclusions, has been verified by a gemologist. Ring size 8. The top is just under 7/8 inch square. The stone is 17mm by 15mm. Excellent condition. Stunning 1920s Chinese export Art Deco long drop earrings with screw backs, in gold washed sterling silver with carved carnelian bi or pi disks, and very detailed repousee foo dogs at the tops. I am also listing a similar bracelet from the same estate. Marked CHINA, SILVER, and also marked with a horse form hallmark. Together they weigh 12 grams. 3 inches long and 1 1/16 inch wide. The carnelian disks are 27mm. Excellent condition. Photos enlarged to show detail.

Fabulous early silver necklace with round and baguette paste stones, and a huge cut glass center pendant framed by paste stones. 1900 - 1920. Possibly French. Not marked but tests positive for sterling silver. With a dainty slide clasp also set with stones. The square link side chain is made to fall slightly to the sides so the stones on the chain are visible from either side. From a Philadelphia estate.

Acquired on a newer marked 835 and other letters numbers Czech(?) 23 1/2" chain that because it is unpolished, blends well with the rhodium on warm brass...
