Vintage 1980s Talleres de Los Ballesteros Mexican modernist bracelet wrought in Antonio Pineda’s favorite .970 alloy which is richer in silver content than the standard sterling, this is a heavy, architectural piece adorned with clear, faceted, gem-quality amethysts. Are you bold enough for this ring, with it's huge, sparkling grey druzy stone? The crystal measures approximately 1.5" when measured from its longest point. It is pale grey, which sparkling gold inclusions (pyrite?) layering the top. Set in sterling silver. The band is adjustable, currently size 7. Marked with an unknown hallmark, "Taxco 925."

These earrings are composed of irregularly shaped, concave panels that feature applied abstract figures with outstretched arms. The background is highly oxidized, as are the tops attached to the screw backs. The oxidation is nicely distributed and shows very little wear. The backs of the tops have a mark of Plata/Taxco, as well as partial unidentifiable marks. The earrings measure 1 ¼ inches long by about ¾ inch wide. Weight: 11.1 grams total

This cute, sterling silver pin / brooch is a Mexican cat character. He is wearing a bowtie and has abalone (like, fur) belly. It measures 1 1/4" x 1/2" The back is marked with the #3 Assay Mark. It is also marked TAXCO MEXICO, in a circle, with JRC .in the middle. It is in excellent condition.

A Mexican sterling silver torque necklace with a single cubic zirconia. This vintage 1980 era Modern design sterling silver necklace currently measures 4- 7/8" from centre to opening and approximately 4 7/8" at the widest (measurements taken from inside of necklace). These necklaces are usually adjusted by the wearer. It is 3/4" at its widest section just to the right of the bezel-set cubic zirconia. The opening at the necklace back is currently 3 3/8"...

Sterling doll cat motif. Well made with nice heft figural cat pin pendant sterling brass mixed metals stamped: TV-08 or TV-88 Mexico 925. The "T" barely visible in this viewer's opinion. The bail accommodates an omega/chain of 3.5-4mm wide.
The native peoples were known to make animal motif dolls for their children to play.

This choker / necklace has a triangle geo pendant with a swinging colorful stone (greens, turquoise, browns). The pendant measures 2" x 2" at highest and widest. The choker is marked with the Taxco assay / eagle mark #3. It is also marked 925RJA MEXICO. This is a great find. It has good heft and is in excellent condition.

Composed of delicate, sectional curved bars with ring links. Each piece bears the unidentified maker’s mark of GHS and the sterling mark and Mexico marks; the necklace also has what looks like an eagle 3 mark. Both pieces have secure hook and ring clasps. The necklace is 18 ½ inches long; the bracelet measures 7 ¼ inches long. Weights: necklace, 24.6 grams; bracelet, 10.1 grams

An unusual pair of sterling silver modernist earrings by Salvador Teran. Marked Salvador, Sterling, Mexico, Eagle mark and 159 for the style number. Measure 1" long and 7/8" wide. Screw backs function properly. Depict some kind of highly stylized Dancing creature or person. Fine condition. Nice contrast between the polished silver and darkened background. Impressive in size this vintage Janna Thomas Mexican silver pendant is an example of the "pluma Azteca" technique which incorporates vividly colored bird feathers in sterling jewelry.
