Large vintage circa 1930's sterling silver belt buckle designed by William Spratling, executed and signed by Artemio Navarrete. Navarrete was Spratling's first master silversmith and trained other silver artisans in Spratling's early Taxco, Mexico work shop. The buckle measures 2" X 2" and will accommodate a 1 1/4" wide strap. Weight - 20 grams or .8oz. Hallmarked on reverse conjoined AN, 980 and TAXCO. Circa mid-century, this necklace is exquisitely hand-wrought by noted Taxco silversmith Beto. Deeply carved swirling silver panels alternate with polished half-cylinder shaped amethysts. The stones are gorgeous, with natural inclusions and quartz marbling. Measures 15" closed, wearable length. Weight is 52.7 grams. Signed and hallmarked "Beto 925 Taxco GRO Sterling Hecho en Mexico". In excellent vintage condition. Clasp is tight and secure.

This is an early piece by Matilde Poulat, with hallmarks dating 1930's - 40's. Collector quality, with turquoise cabochons and branch coral. Absolutely gorgeous, measures 7" long without the tongue portion of the clasp, 1 1/2" wide. Weight is 67.3 grams. Signed and hallmarked as shown. Stones are all original. In excellent vintage condition.
