Spratling designed this impressive pendant in the 1940's. Measuring 3 1/2" x 2 1/2" the piece is beautifully detailed with 4 beveled cut amethyst stones & a center cab set into thick silver frames. Ledesma is a noted Maestro in Penny Morrill's books. This is a rarely seen all silver Art Nouveau swirl weighing 61 grams heavy. It is properly hallmarked as shown and in 2 places. The repousse is without dents and is flowing in design. At it's widest it is 7/8th's of an inch and is 16.5in. long. The piece is jaw dropping on and you can turn the swirl inside or outside to wear. This playful pair of bracelets were designed and handwrought during Hubert Harmon's short time in Taxco, Mexico in the 1940's. Each bracelet measures 7" long and 3/4" wide. The pair weighs 32 grams. Each fish is finely detailed and measures 1 1/2" long. The amethyst cabs are bezel set but not backed allowing light to sparkle though as they move on the wrist. Beautiful condition.
