Excellent, elegant circa 1940s necklace by William Spratling, arguably the most important name in Mexican Silver. Heavy for it's size, this solid liquid silver necklace is constructed of hollow silver bars over seven silver chains of variying lengths. This design is understated, and extremely rare. The shortest chain measures just under 15" in length. The necklace is authentic and bears Spratling's circa 1940s stamp. Excellent vintage condition.

Look carefully at the full underside of the bracelet for the clear but spread apart (hard to get all in one photo) hallmarks revealing AP, an eagle 22 and sterling Mexico for Abraham Paz. This maestro made many of the pieces for Fred Davis and this is one of those designs produced for him. He added more special cut stones on the sides of this piece than the other lion bracelets. There is no damage anywhere and it is stunning on! It displays a dark natural patina...

“Jewels by Tono”, the signature found on the figural Mexican silver and carved amethyst brooch at hand, is one of Antonio Pineda’s early hallmarks. Holding a fan, his hair in a long braid, part of his face obscured by the wide coolie hat, the man portrayed here is meant to hail from the “exotic Far East”...

This interesting handmade pin is composed of thin interwoven silver rods that evoke an unfinished piece of textile. It is sturdy and the secure pin stem and clasp are applied so as to wear the piece on a diagonal. On the back is an applied plaque bearing the mark for Mexico and 925 for sterling, and an unidentified serpentine mark that looks to have been struck twice. The piece is possibly from the 1960s or early 1970s. It measures 2 inches by 2 inches square. Weight: 21.2 grams

A massive, amazing vintage bracelet in 970 silver with 6 cabachon amethysts by Antonio Pineda. The randomly placed stones are deeply set into the silver and appear to be almost floating. The cuff measures 5 1/4" around in the inside plus an additional 1 1/2" opening. It is 2 3/4" wide at all points and weighs 177 grams. This is a heavy bracelet but remarkably comfortable on. This piece is truly a show stopper and I believe to be quite rare. Except for this one, I have never seen this bracelet ...
