A first design period sterling silver cuff bracelet by William Spratling. This cuff, known as the 'Cholula', measures 5 7/8" around with an opening of 1 3/8" and 1 1/4" wide. Better for the larger wrist. Weighs 84 Gr.

Marked with the incised WS and Spratling Made in Mexico in a circle mark, and an impressed Spratling Silver.

Has some wear to the darkened patina and some small dings along the edges.

A rare and early first design period 980 silver bracelet by William Spratling with 6 hats alternating with rows of three balls.

Measures 7" long and 7/8" at the widest. Marked with the conjoined WS, 980 and Taxco on a cartouche on the back. Has a slide in pin closure.

The bracelet has a dark patina. There is a slight bit of stiffness to the hinges. The pin closure is tight. Has some minor nicks and scratches as seen with pieces of this age.

An Art Deco style sterling silver bracelet from Mexico with four bezel set amethyst carved masks alternating with domes and curved bars. The stones have some inclusions. We have seen the same bracelet with the FD mark for Fred Davis.

Marked Sterling Mexico on the clasp. Measures 7 1/4" long and 1 1/8" wide. Box clasp holds securely. Has some minor surfaces scratches, a few dings on the sides, some tiny flea bites to the amethyst and a little tarnish.

I am more used to Anton's repousse work yet from time to time, I do come across some examples that feature overlay and, as in this case, stone inlay. We have a superb Los Castillo 18in. long necklace to offer today. The links are 1 3/8ths tall making for a striking presence. This example is signed with the conjoined AN, Taxco and 940 for better than sterling silver. Pre Eagle, (pre 1949).

Measures 1 7/8" across and 2" high. Has a rollover safety clasp that holds securely. The brooch has some minor tarnish and surface scratches.
