A Mexican sterling silver torque necklace with a single cubic zirconia. This vintage 1980 era Modern design sterling silver necklace currently measures 4- 7/8" from centre to opening and approximately 4 7/8" at the widest (measurements taken from inside of necklace). These necklaces are usually adjusted by the wearer. It is 3/4" at its widest section just to the right of the bezel-set cubic zirconia. The opening at the necklace back is currently 3 3/8"...

This disc pin features a large faceted citrine in a bold prong setting. The stone has a light yellow-brown tinge and shows no signs of damage or wear. It is quite secure in its mount. The disc has a warm patina from age; the piece dates conservatively 1960-1970. The back has a secure rollover clasp and bears the marks for Mexican silver (eagle 42, circular 925 Sterling) as well as the maker’s mark for Los Ballesteros. There appears to have been a pendant bale or hook that has been removed...

This bracelet is made of six linked stylized flowers alternating with bars decorated with incised circular elements. The flower 'petals' are actually formed as coffee beans. One of the most energetic Taxco modernists, Sigi Pineda enjoyed a long, creative career. Prolific and ever “on the move”, he was at his best working within the confines of minimalist design. This elaborately worked bracelet, done by hand, was made by Maciel Silver Factory of Mexico, c.1950’s. It is marked “925/1000," "MACIEL" (maker's mark), "STERLING MADE IN MEXICO” (see pictures). The central, convex, Aztec god oval measures 1 3/4” x 1 1/4” while the cuff with the eagle warrior masks measures 1 3/8”. This piece is in excellent condition.

This substantial sterling silver bangle bracelet features a classic mid-century modernist design of an oblong shape with two flattened sides. The sides, however, are thicker and a little more rounded than the more common interpretation. It is marked inside with the Mexico Eagle 1 and the maker’s initials of ESM. Alovely Brooch by the famous Taxco Silver Artist Hector Aguilar features two stylized flower blossoms along with a curved leaf on curving stems. Signed by a listed yet still unidentified workshop, this set of vintage silver and gold cufflinks is a classic Mexican Deco design. A most talented silversmith took a sheet of sterling and hammered it onto a pitch bowl to create such repousse detail. Because it is holloware one looks for the air escape openings which in this case are found at one ear.
