This ring has an oval, biomorphic shape with a sparkly, green, glass cab in the center. It is surmounted on a tapered band. It is a size 5 (but is adjustable). The back shows the Polish registry mark for Krakow, 1963-1986 and .800 silver, as well as the RYT mark for the maker and a C7, possibly a mark that is particular to this workshop...

These modernist earrings feature polished, irregular-shaped composite turquoise drops attached to serpentine pieces of forged sterling silver wire, secured by curled ends. They hang from commercial screw backs that are marked (and test positively for) sterling silver and are in excellent working condition. The earrings measure approximately 2 1/4 in. long. They are otherwise unmarked.

Simple, elegant modernist earrings of irregular-shaped panels by Frances Holmes Boothby, bezel-set with cabochons of dyed black onyx. They have very secure screw backs and are marked fhb on the reverse of one, sterling on the other, with sterling indicated on both of the screw backs. The stones are in excellent condition, with no scratches, nicks or other issues. The earrings measure approximately 3/4 in. long by 1/2 in. wide. Gross weight: 7.4 grams total

Formed in the shape of coral-like branches and set with what appears to be a gray pearl, this delicate sterling silver pin was made by Otto Robert Bade of New Hope, PA. Bade was a prominent designer for Francisco Rebajes, and purchased the company in 1958 from. Bade renamed the firm Orb, which ended production in 1971. The pin is marked ‘Orb’ on the reverse and is secured with a safety clasp. It measures 2 inches long by 1 1/4 inches wide.

A boulder opal sterling silver pendant from the 1960s 1980s. This delicate pin has a branch-like design formed by lost-wax casting, with a textured surface and applied beads. The oxidized and textured surface has a Brutalist feel. It is marked sterling, with what appears to be a maker’s mark of AR in an oval reserve. The pin has a secure rollover clasp, and measures 2 ¼ inches long by 1 ¼ inches wide. Weight: 8.2 grams

These abstract earrings have an unconstructed, rough look of Brutalist design. They have pendants with curled, textured and oxidized surfaces that are finished on both sides and dangle from similar tops. They test definitively for sterling silver, and although they are not too heavy for the original ear clips, a good jeweler or metalsmith could convert them to posts to be on the safe side. There are indecipherable marks on the pendant top rings that could be either tool marks or struck...

Here is a mid-20th century handmade ring of two types of wood mounted in a sterling silver frame. The wood is carved into small squares. The rectangular top is soldered to a sterling band and rises about 1/2 inch from the finger. The ring is unmarked, but tests for sterling. The top of the ring measures 3/4 inch long by 5/8 inch wide. The ring is sized to a 7.

This pin features a dynamic abstract design comprised of an elongated piece of amber set in a similarly shaped silver frame. A silver wire applied to the back surrounds the piece evokes a ‘space-age’ sense of movement. The pin is marked 835 on the back for silver content; the mark is accompanied by an impressed abstract fish, probably for the Fischland workshop of Georg and Walter Kramer. The pin measures 2 ½ inches long by about ¾ inch at its widest part.

This ring design features a constructionist approach to the classic 1960s domed ring. Ridged protrusions overlay a grainy, textured surface. The band is separated for ease of sizing; it is quite thick, so probably would need professional adjustment. It is currently a size 7. Weight: 11.4 grams

This sterling silver pendant features a ‘space age’ design with a center amethyst cabochon. The surface is textured and oxidized for a whitish patina; there are a few tiny spots of oxidation.
