A Mid Century Modernist pair of screw back earrings in a sterling silver oyster or floral design signed Macefield for William Mason and Leonard Field, American studio jewelers who worked in Massachusetts in the 1940's -70's.

These earrings measure 1" across. Screw backs hold securely. Signed Macefield Sterling on the back of each earring. The screw backs are also signed Sterling.

Nice contrast between the textured background and the polished sterling orbs...

A modernist sterling silver hand wrought cuff bracelet and/or spiral triangular earrings by Lore Garrick, (1920-2013). Lore Garrick made hand crafted jewelry in NYC in the 1950s. Known as 'Mother Lore' because her son became Tamal Krishna Goswami, she made the first pieces of jewelry for the Hare Krishna movement in Los Angeles.

An interesting, heavy organic ring by the Swedish Modernist Jeweler, Isaac Cohen. Marked Isaac Cohen, ICO for the maker, Town Mark for Stockholm, National Mark, Silver Standard, and date code for 1967. Isaac Cohen was the owner of Galarie 22, a fashionable jewelry store in Stockholm. Top measures about 1 1/8" long and 1 1/8" across. Sits about 5/8" high off the shank. Ring is between an 8 - 8 1/2. Looks like someone may have previously sized it...

This is a spectacular vintage hand wrought sterling silver brooch by the well known Boston silversmith, Ella L. Cone. Looks like a surreal silhouette.

Measures 4 3/8" high and 1 5/8" at the widest. Roll over clasp holds securely. Marked Sterling, Hand ELC Made on the back. Has a little tarnish and minor surface scratches.

Reminds us of the surreal pieces by Paul Lobel and Ed Wiener.

Well made, fine quality. The best piece of jewelry by this artist that we have ever encountered.
