Although extremely rare to see his signature on non George Jensen pieces, it is probably made by Henning Koppel(1918-1982). In "Silver Jewelry" by Fred Rezazadeh, on page 100, it states that "Koppel's jewelry exhibits modern and abstract designs derived form nature, sometimes enhanced with enamelwork." Very early sterling compact designed by HARALD NIELSEN(1892-1977) for GEORG JENSEN, Denmark, c.1920. Has decorative applied silver dolphin at top center. Empty on the inside so can be used as a pill box, it measures 2 1/2" in diameter by 1/2" thick. Beautifully signed "HN GEORG JENSEN(in dotted circle with crown) STERLING DENMARK GI925S(in dotted oval) 160A", it is in very good condition with a slight dent at top. One of the most elusive pieces designed by Danish modernist Hans Hansen, this sterling silver neck ring has been in my collection for a long time. The idea was to get a pendant by the same designer so as to complete the necklace but it never happened and I decided to give that same opportunity to someone else out there. A vintage sterling silver large pendant designed by Karen Strand for Anton Michelsen, made in Denmark in a teardrop design. Has a central prong set pale green jewel. Not sure what the stone is. The brooch version of this pendant is part of the British Museum's permanent collection. It is called the Persian Palm.

A sterling silver heavy, modernist pendant in a brutalist style possibly designed by Henning Koppel for the Danish silversmith, Niels Erik (NE) From. Have not been able to find any other designer with HK hallmark.
